@@theropemonster Hey mate...AWESOME video!!!! Since 2007, I've lived near this area & it is a hidden gem. The reason it's not yet developed into a resort is because of the stone & the condition of the beach-front in general. It would cost many millions of dollars to prepare the beach to "resort standards". But I have no doubt it'll eventually be spoiled by some resort organization. As have nearly all of the pristine, paradise along the Mexican Caribbean. The mega resort consortium of XCARET is a prime example. BTW: They are heavily involved with the local drug cartel(s) here. The area you happened onto in this video is "private" & known to be the place where (famous) people, politicians, drug-lords & the like frequently stay. It's a palatial residence where these nefarious people are "entertained". Other than such places, ALL beaches in Mexico belong to the public. There are no "private" beaches in Mexico. Even-so, The owners of beachfront homes may confront you & say you're trespassing, try to evict you, etc. Also, be extremely cautious when walking in such environments while in the Yucatan Peninsula. These areas & the tropical, deciduous jungles are infested with several varieties of highly venomous Coral Snakes. If you're bitten, you "will" die. Because there is no antivenom on-hand in the hospitals. The same is true for Florida & other habitats of Coral Snakes. Best of luck on your travel adventures, Ben

I’m so grateful that you enjoy my videos and I’m sure you’ll love those beaches as much as I do! The trick is to go on the journey early (to avoid the sunburn), and bring a dry bag because you’ll get wet if you walk from the ferry terminal. So worth the 4km walk. If you have a hammock it’s wise to nap in the jungle before the walk back. Enjoy 😎🏝️🇲🇽🍻

Travelling to Playa next week, would love to go this place. Are there any parking spots available? Is there a google map location? 🙂
