Nice, as many of you noticed, some tracks sounds like "rip-offs", alternatives of other NES games. The overall sound reminds me Mega Man franchise :-) Great upload.

And I thought the released Golgo 13 games had amazing soundtracks... Such a SHAME that this one was never released to make the Golgo 13 trilogy for the NES

Wow...incredible find WiiGuy! I had no idea there was another sequel in the works. If they kept the momentum going, it should've been quite a game considering how much Mafat improved over Part 1. The music seems quite lively on this one. One thing's for sure, NO WAY they'd release it with such edgy box art! As for the comparison to Simon's Quest's track...its really just the opening few seconds that are similar. Which then means the 4th stage of Batman (Sunsoft) would be guilty too :p

And what is a mystery to this day... that Fumito said something to me that the japanese version Kaitou Sugar (which was also never released, nor even announced) supposedly had a completely different soundtrack compared to this one.
