Graeme's "Workin' at the car wash, yea!" Song! Rose Royce you ain't! Another interesting video. Now then, I was always told off for adding a little washing up liquid to my screenwashers because "It rots the paintwork and the rubber seals"? If my Jeep is exceptionally dirty, I always give it a wash with a solution of TFR first (Traffic Film Remover) before car shampoo, ususally one with a wax additive. Everyone to their own I suppose! Stay safe - stay well.

For extra shine and protection you can use boat wax on the car it's a long process and you need an electric buffer but it makes the car look amazing for weeks.

Thanks, Graeme, I might wash my car soon, nearly a year. I can remember when our gang we went of to Ireland fishing in a Bedford van, the thing was this time we decided to take our own maggots, 3 gallons, we sailed this time from Liverpool, and yes you guessed it, they got sweaty and most of them disappeared !!! So we ended going to Ardlougher to get some more, good times Cheers, from Whaley Bridge.

I've never heard the word "detailing" before this film I just wash our family cars using rainwater, load with fishing tackle and hit the road. But maybe there is some sort of art form in car washing. I have to admit a car to me does one thing...It gets me from A to B . I must show the attempt I had at getting bird doodoo stains off with a scouring pad...Its certainly different. The bird mess has gone..but so has half my paintwork.
