Good evening, Graeme. I watched Mike’s video earlier, had your name all over it. A log cabin with its own lake, you can almost cast from the bed 😂

Good video, interesting as always. I can tell you that that big red contraption with all the wheels is a seed drill, the wheels on the front help with leveling and firming the seed bed, the seeds go down all those pipes and the wheels at the back consolidate the ground after. The tracks on the tractors help to reduce soil compaction and offer better traction then conventional tyres, but tyres are still better for some jobs, and yes Massey Harris joined with Fergusson in the 50's I think, theres alot of history between Fergusson, Ford and Massy Harris. Involving a long expensive law suit. Massey Fergusson is the outcome of it all. Oh and that very expensive green machine was a combine. Probably set ya back a good £800,000 to just over million depending on speck..

Sorry for the blank but still great entertainment. I used to work for Petter engines in Hamble. Good to see the old engines still going. They were exported all over the world but the bean counters closed us down in 1979. Thanks Graeme, it's like going to the abcRex on Saturday morning... John in south Devon

I used to work on a large estate in Northamptonshire which was on very heavy clay. The farm used those huge tractors. They told me they actually caused less compaction, than going over several times with a smaller tractor. Plus you needed the extra power to drag subsoilers through the clay. Interesting, varied video Graeme .

Can you do some canal pike fishing dead baits tight lines
@TAFishingКүн бұрын
Probably not as I'm not a lover of canals. And I rarely do static deadbaiting nowadays,I prefer roving and covering areas.

Table looks very much like it's made from Yew, this wood was also used for making long bows, the different colours ( outer and inner section of the tree ) on these bows were deliberate as they reacted against each colour to produce a good spring tension essential to gain distance when firing the arrow.
