I just canceled mine after 6 years the last time I've been was 2020 It took less than 3 minutes the computer kept freezing but that's nothing new and I still can use it until July 17th which I'm not Long as they don't charge me anymore.. For my experience it was pretty easy and the lady was nice about it so in and out

This happened to me at Synergy. I stopped being billed and since I wasn't going anyway I figured, "great they canceled for me." However I was put into Collections for 3 months back pay even though my card never expired or changed. I am not sure if the same thing would happen here. Plus, I just checked and of course I used my bank account instead of a card.

My problem is the location in Colorado Springs, CO wants a bank account. Like it is 1990. I signed up for 2 straight years in in Las Vegas, NV and never had a problem. Too many scams with Bank Accounts now in delaying the cancellation of a membership. The problem is the franchise owner being dishonest.

Happened to me with Crunch, no notice or anything, card I signed up with expired, they kept charging even though i wasnt showing up to the gym, didn't know till I got the collection mail for 5 months 🤕 oye vay

You by hitting accept on all those pop ups or paperwork and the "I understand" " I agree" meant you signed a contract that until you cancel your membership you will be billed for each month. If the card isn't giving money they basically make a tab. If that tab goes to high you are liable for that and they can claim it just like debt.

I’ve worked in collections and for $10 a month it makes zero sense sending anyone to collections. Do you think it’s worth the collector’s time or effort to harass Planet Fitness members? Collection agencies get paid a percentage of what they collect, even if it’s 50%, they’ll go broke on chasing PF members.

@@sloebone7399 Liar alert, or can't do math. 10*12=120+100=$220 a year. $220x10, for 10 years is $2200, 50% is $1100. Same case for tons of people making it easy work with ok pay. It will add up. 5 years is still fine pay, and even 3 years. It is about when collections start not if.
