The tynnels apparently connect from the castle around the old public toilets to the old abbey outside of Warwick as connection-if the castle was ever under siege they also run into royal leamington spa both tunnels can be entered via the old houses/ pub / general buildings and suspected the hospital neat the Warwick gate but permission-has rarely been given by the council as there is also a tunnel to the old Warwick courts and many other buildingsas i know but i hope this information will help you understand more also the abbey has now been taken over by the templars who dont allow entry into the castle tunnels from the abbey

I know of a maybe 200ft deep well I Eastgate area,hidden now since 1987
