I like how space endings are its own lore. Nice touch that they continued the gag, og game had ps1 harry taking ps2 james, now it's ps2 james taking ps5 james. Also 'you're a clone' could be interpreted as meta commentary on this game as a whole.

@@thehavokmaster HD collection wasn't made by original developer, so most of the assets and source code were missing. So the HD collection was end up being half baked than the original. Not only that, the "collection" only included Silent Hill 2 and 3.

So the HD collection devs basically had to rebuild several parts of two games, on a limited budget, a limited timeframe and while not being allowed to use the original voice acting. They were dealt a very bad hand by Konami.

f*cking briliant the UFO ending has its own time-line since each respective game in the trilogy has a UFO ending that follows up the previous one and,when compared to everything else that happens in the franchise after that,could be considered the true "good ending" of SillentHill (since in 3 everyone is alright and SillentHill is gone after the aliens bomb it) in this remake the aliens still have this 1 objective,the aliens bring out OG PS2 James and abduct Remake James thus making sure PS2 James is the one who goes through it all allowing the SH3 UFO ending to remain the same (since OG James is core for that to happen) so Sillent Hill can be destroyed the absolute commitment for the destruction of SillentHill is amazing SPECIALLY after considering what became of this franchise after the trilogy,its almost as the aliens know it and want soo bad for it not to happen they keep searching for whole new timelines like the Remake just to fix it so the events always end up like the ones in SH3

I think that they didn't put harry for this:so in silent hill 1 in ufo ending we see harry being kindnaped by aliens and then co-operating with them in silent hill 2 and kindnaping james.So my theory is that harry still helps the aliens but instead in the remake they cloned og james to see the results of a town they made and see how a clone can interact with life just like a normal person.So that's why they sent og james and not harry to take clone james back .As it is seen in silent hill 3 the aliens destroy silent hill meaning that the whole franachise is just an experiment by aliens that never succeed.If you are asking me about the dog ending i think aliens took harry's daughter heather and turned her into dog and let her in charge of seeing how a clone can interact with normal staff just like humans.I know that it sounds stupid but its my theory

They're just joke endings, but they do get more interesting the more you watch them, as they are connected to each other. Spoiler territory past this line In SH1, the protagonist is abducted by aliens, then in SH2, the SH1 protagonist helps the aliens abduct the SH2 protagonist, later in SH3, you can see both SH1 and 2 protagonists hanging out with the aliens, the SH3 protagonist tells them what she's been going through and the aliens go and destroy Silent Hill once and for all
