I wonder if you had fewer inlet vents if that would create a more consistent rocket effect. So that you wouldn't get that sputtering and also less oil splashing outside the Base. Cool project👍

Thank you for your feedback and suggestion. Indeed, reducing the number of inlet vents or modifying their design could potentially create a more consistent rocket effect and help prevent sputtering and oil splashing outside the base. This kind of adjustment is an interesting idea. If you have any recommendations or specifics in mind for modifying the design, I'd love to hear more about it. What changes would you propose to make this system even more efficient and reliable?

@@lmtn I think you need to calculate the area of the opening. the velocity of the exhaust is much higher since there are less area where the gas can escape. I think a ratio of maximum 1:3 should suffice

What is the role of water there? Does it mix with the used oil?...May be it is better to have a flame or heat regulator to lessen the amount of heat produce!... More clear explanation.. please!

It appears that the water boils causing a jet of high pressure steam to be injected into the chimney thus creating a forced airflow up the chimney. This is instead of having to use an electric fan to provide the draw.

Thank you for your comment. The water you see in the video is being used as a cooling medium to help condense the hot gases from the burning used oil. The hot gases are channeled through pipes that run through the water, which absorbs some of the heat and helps reduce emissions. It doesn't mix with the used oil but is part of the system to control and regulate the temperature. A flame or heat regulator could indeed be beneficial to control the amount of heat produced more precisely. Would you like a more detailed explanation of any specific part of the process, or do you have other questions about this system?

You've made an interesting observation! Yes, the boiling water can indeed create a high-pressure steam jet that helps drive the airflow up the chimney without the need for an electric fan. The natural draft created by this process can be an efficient way to facilitate the movement of gases. Is there something specific you'd like to know about this system or any other questions you have related to it?

How much water? How long does the steam pressure last with that much water? Is it like, 1 liter of water lasts 1 hour?

Great questions! The duration of steam pressure in a system like this can vary depending on several factors, such as the size of the water reservoir, the heating element's power, and the rate of water consumption. To determine how long the steam pressure will last with a specific amount of water, it's essential to know the water consumption rate. Could you provide more details about the size of the water reservoir or how quickly water is consumed during operation? This information will help in estimating the steam pressure's duration more accurately.
