My idea: Combine both secret wars 1 and the 2015 one - incursions, all but 5-6 universes survive, with some spillover survivors from other worlds - The Beyonder makes them all fight to the death for which universe will survive, the others being erased. to make it out in a battle of heroes but some of them team up to take him down. - issue is Doom wants to harness beyonders power, so when they try and take him down it causes the final incursion, all the universes crashing into each other, but Doom saves pieces of each for battleworld - then do battleworld vs Doom story, and reboot the MCU completely

I like this idea. I’m currently reading the original Secret Wars and I think it’s perhaps too much for an MCU film where as (from what I’ve herd because I haven’t read it yet) the 2015 Secret Wars is more of a reasonable adaption. Doom taking over the Multiverse and being Emperor Doom is something I think should happen and doing the two films paying respect to both stories works really well.

I remember immediately thinking that when they showed incursions and discussed a "multiversal war" in Loki, but I largely disregarded it when that was the only thing there. But now with rumors of and the implications of No Way Home, Multiverse of Madness, and even What If, I think its more likely than ever.

I think you're partially correct, setting aside the notes of cynicism, secret wars/incursions/contest of champions is where things are going eventually. But like infinity war it will be stripped for parts. The biggest problem with the original mini is the beyonder insofar as he's the literal dues ex machina, but the best part is doom. So much so that in 2015 they skipped right to doom with a molecule man battery. The question is what do you need? You need a God like power, a judgment or inquiry into worth or essence, and a contest. "Slay your enemies and you win the prize". Tinfoil hat, I originally assumed warlock would be a beyonder stand in, but the celestial in enternals did mention "judgment". Add someone like the grand Master to intercede, and you could do 80s secret wars after you nailed doom. But where does Kang fit into this? Along with the Dr strange sequel they seem to be pushing incursions/multiversal war ideas. This doesn't fit the the idea of a contest but of a foe with a mind for universal destruction whom, again to hit the highlights, doom overcomes at least short-term and steals God hood from. There's no likewise motivated AND powered character yet.

YES IT IS!!! I believe so. Will it be Avengers 5? I don’t think so. I think what Marvel will do is build up Doctor Doom to be the major bad of the MCU as he gradually gains more and more power to become Emperor Doom. I think Secret Wars will be based of the 2015 version with the multiverse colliding I think we will see Andrew and Tobey back as Spider-Man (maybe we will see Andre before that, maybe in TASM3 or Venom 3 or even in Across The Spider-Verse), RDJ as Iron Man and Chris Evans as Captain America (both taken from just before them and Thor fight Thanos) and Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine/Logan. Imagine Andrew’s Spider-Man arguing with RDJ’s Iron Man because I feel those two wouldn’t get along at all. I also think we will see some What If characters maybe debut in live action. I think we will see Captain Carter interact will Steve Rogers Captain America and Sam Wilson’s Captain America. I look at like this. If Endgame was a celebration of the MCU then Secret Wars would be a celebration of all Marvel movies. Spider-Men teaming up but this time with Miles and Venom, Logan having a breath fight with Captain America, all characters fighting Doom. If they wanted to do the scene with all the Hulk’s then they could do that and take them from different franchises. Professor Hulk, 2012 Hulk and 2003 Hulk.

I’ve been saying this for years. Ain’t no way we get WandaVision, Loki, What If…?, No Way Home, Multiverse of Madness, and Quantumania and this isn’t all leading to a massive multiversal crossover in the style of Secret Wars. But yeah, if the Infinity War needed to be split into two movies, I wouldn’t be surprised if we got a Secret award trilogy (or honestly even a Disney+ series, but I’d prefer the former)

I was thinking a decent event movie could be Original Sin, inspired by that line from Far From Home when Fury (yes I know he's a skull there but this could just be how he actually feels) is like "I had eyes and ears everywhere then I dissappear for 5 years and it's all gone". Then because of Dr. Strange possibly bringing in stuff from What If you can introduce the watcher into the movie, and Fury hears about it. What's Fury doing on the "Sword" ship? Oh he just now established The Man on the Wall to keep more Blips from happening. It'd be something to help change some of the relationships by revealing secrets, and it'd be a good send off for Fury because we're always told he's the Baddest of Asses and this would be him taking on all the avengers at once and we see his awesomeness in action. It'd be a way of holding us over until the next BIG thing

I would want the Wolverine scene to be when he is in The airplane in The Wolverine and he opens the brief case with his yellow costume in it and the portal opens and he finally wheres the suit when he jumps into the MCU!

I don't doubt for a second that they're going to do Secret Wars. What I'm skeptical about is bringing Tobey back. No offense to him but he was already looking pretty old in No Way Home. I personally have had my fill of Raimi Spiderman in the MCU. Just bring back Andrew.

I`ve heard several rumors and I would absolutely LOVE to see a "Secret Wars" movie mostly based on the 1984 version, but ALOT has to happen... (X-men, Fantastic Four, Dr. Doom , Galactus...) in order to accomplish that. So unless theirs some concrete evidence in the not too distant future, I think I`ll curb my expectations a bit for now...

I think the returning of older actors is the theme for the next few years with Flashpoint and No Way Home. I think it'll be diminishing returns fairly quickly. It could also run the risk of cheapening some character's endings. Look at Logan, it was such a great sendoff for Hugh, and I don't think I'd ever want him to come back after that, even as an "alternate" version.
