23:24 I suspect your braided line is slipping on the spool. I've been told, that is common for braid, especially on baitcasters. To prevent this, I use a small layer of electrical tape on the spool before putting the line on it. Works like a charm for me.

I’m definitely digging the looks of the green (less expensive) rod than the gold series, I’m not much on the cork and color choices for those, if the colors were different I’d pre order, unless find out can pre order the green I’ll be doing that

A spinner bait can be worked at the top of the water Column just like a buzz bait but you also can work it mid or deep too. You can cast it on top of cover like lily pads and drag it into the water, I’ve gotten bit many times doing that. And even if you’re just reeling it mid pace in water with no cover bass hit the spinner bait aggressively, usually at the bank last second. I’d say the spinner bait is one of the most fun and versatile lures.

My brother caught a massive alligator snapping turtle on a worm a while back, we couldn’t get the turtle out of the water. Luckily, about five minutes later the hook came out. A couple of days ago he caught a duckling by accident. The duckling dove underwater and ate his lure. The mother freaked out but the hook came out. He caught his own shorts with a crank bait too 😂 . Same day he caught the duckling he caught a 6 pound trout. I got a 5&a1/2😢
