Hey, Pos Sizing is definitely the best system to work on. But scaling and scaling out is way more difficult than it seems. In order to scale in we need a good risk reward again & sometimes we just don't get that. We need a good pullback with low vol to scale in with better RRR but when it pullsback with high vol , there is a good RRR but now u don't have that conviction that it will reach your TGT , reason being a bad pullback . So what do u think actually happens with you and how you tackle it. Do you have different perspective to look at scaling in. Sometimes it feels like I should have get in with full qty Initially as i never got A better RRR or the conviction that I had earlier. I used to think that its real easy to add more when it work in your favour but as we need to think that add in as a new trade makes it more hard. What do u do when suppose u bought 50% at a support and then added another 50 at pullback and then it reverses at the last highs . How do u exit in this case. As I treat both trades as individuals trades I think I should exit if the individual Stoplosses are hit but due to FIFO rule it won't work like that. My initial pos will be out first so it would make no sense whatsoever. So I just exit fully at the point when it starts to reverse. What actually happens is the scaled in qty eats the profit out as it had to incur loss . How do u do this ? Its really so obvious as we may think but while executing its totally f***ed up.
