Everyone in the show talks about how cold hearted Harvey is, but the second he shows his weakness to Donna she leaves him. Lmao let also not forget that she was his secretary, there’s no dependency on any of it a secretaries job is do whatever and whenever there boss asks them to do something.

I respect how some people are angry at Donna's character. In my opinion, her mistaken actions (jeopardizing legal processes, acting impulsively, etc) were so human and relatable tho. Mistakes? For sure, no doubt about it! But mistakes so many people could make out of wanting love. And we all want love. Sometimes we don't realize JUST how much until we're in the middle of a storm. That's what makes amazing characters, I think ❤

You honestly have to watch the show. Louis is very sensitive and he explained what happen with Mike who was Harvey's associate that left him 2 minutes after agreeing to work with him. He was really hurt by that thinking him and Mike would be the dream team but Mike went back to Harvey. He had the cake and a huge smile then got gutted. Donna is BOMB. She is more than a legal secretary and literary pulls strings and knows a ton to be a true aid to Harvey. But her and Harvey split up after years of avoiding their love so Louis felt like it was going to be a Mike rejection all over because if Harvey could get his prized associate Mike back that quick then of course his ex and long time favorite legal secretary that knows what he wants before he wants it will go back to him. Louis was treated pretty badly sometimes and also made crappy decisions too but he's a huge softie that loves cats and opera lol. He gets hurt hard and loves just as hard. That's why both lawyers had panic attacks because Harvey saw his friend/love/closest coworker finally leaving him AND she's working for a person who sorta annoys Harvey and is like a cold sore that won't go away. Harvey is cocky though. But as he says "I'm the best closer in the city" and he does a damn good job closing deals so he's sorta earned the big ego on top of his good looks and nice suits. But the show is really good and I'm on season 3 I believe lol?

They were more like friends or family, as they often called themselves. We are family and we have each other's back etc etc. It is a TV serial and hence it's not a typical secretary boss relationship, but that's what makes the show interesting.
