And in that moment Jade realised she's been living in the wrong country for all these years and thought to herself "fuck this, I'm moving to Korea" - 08:37

I'm Japanese and find people in the continent are different from people in Japan. Japanese are islanders and have insular mentality. Koreans are more open minded.

I’m Korean and have many Japanese friends out of Japan they have a great manners so I like Japan a lot!

@@strongpride73 Japanese people are well mannered and kind as long as you are their guest or customer. However, when you work with or for Japanese people, it is completely different. Japanese are perfectionists and demand best quality. This is why Japanese products are of high quality and their customer service is attentive, the cities are clean and safe. However, it is a lot of work for those who provide it.

Also Rose is so awesome and chill 😍 though I might be a little biased though due to the software engineering/coding thing. Is she single? 😂

Actually, Rose is wrong. Foreigners have been in Korea since the war ended. The only issue is that Koreans have (for the most part) always been xenophobic and had the OMG reaction (for no damn reason) so stop the cap rose. Also, he talking about foreigners not being good at Korean, is wrong as well. Lots of foreigners in Korea are, were and always have been good at speaking Korean. Perhaps those she was around were bad at it. Dunno,... lot of subjective takes here.

Yeah… the video is about HER experience. The fact that you would expect it to be anything other than subjective is absurd. Also, she makes a general, hyperbolic statement about her time there. Obviously there were foreigners. However, there were significantly less which anyone I’ve heard who was in SK during that time says the same thing.

@@user-lp2wd7gs2u It is very easy to be basic and provide subjective narrative and statements. It is also just as easy to be intelligent and provide objective and analytical insight. There were actually lots more foreigners back then than now. Back then every public school across the country from elementary to high school had a foreigner as an English teacher. Now only a few elementary schools have English teachers. Middle and high school programs have been ended. Back then, there were more military bases across the whole country. Now more than a third have been decommission. Back then, there were foreign exchange students from western countries, now although this demographic has increased, most foreign exchange students are from China. So there is no logic to what she and you are spouting.

I've only spent a week in Korea, but the people were absolutely lovely to me. But I'm an American introvert, so it's possible that I just blended in fairly well culturally.
