This seems like an important concept. Thanks for the discussion: people may think they’re making decisions with their mind but they’re very influenced by their feelings

Emma, you’ve got me reevaluating all my late-night online purchases! You nailed it with the emotions behind our buying habits. This is why I love marketing so much.

I think that it's very challenging to change customers' emotions and psychology because each customer reacts in a different way and there is no One-Size fits all. I watched the commercial and honestly it turned me to the other direction. May be because I am not that much of a pet person, but imagining my son's dog dropping the wine on the carpet creating a big mess just turned my emotions to the opposite direction.
@MarketingbyEmma3 ай бұрын
Agreed - that's why it can be way more powerful to tap into the emotions that they already have. Interesting observation, and a great reminder of how you need to understand who your customer is and target your messaging to them. Thank you for watching!

How about cold hearted people who are just...you know, speaking to emotions might not work. How do you reach them?
@MarketingbyEmma4 ай бұрын
Great question! Oftentimes, you don't want to speak directly to the emotions. However, when you have an understanding what those emotions are, you can acknowledge them indirectly. For example, if a parent is looking for a plug cover to babyproof their home, you probably don't want to say "are you terrified your baby will get electrocuted?" Instead, you can recognize that this is a fear, and then choose to approach it from another angle. Either by reassuring them how secure your covers are, reenforcing how challenging it is to be a parent, etc. Does that make sense?

Emma but I note one thing more that you read books about it but what you recommend for me that who want to learn ppc , seo , images creation points , vedios points because I am Amazon seller I follow you to learn something about customer and as well copywriting learn not like expert but like 70% I want to learn ????? Is it okay to learn like from you or learn from books practice and expiernce or just by learning from you can I learn 50% ????
@MarketingbyEmma4 ай бұрын
@@animalife135 There are many different ways to learn. The main thing is that you need to practice putting what you learn into action. It's easy to get stuck in a space of seeking new information as a way to avoid implementing/trying/testing/practicing.
