I love when you get spicy over these calendars. And honestly, I agree 100%. They managed to make the calendar even worse when it comes to value for your money. I’m glad I’ve never liked Victoria’s Secret as a company, because if I was a fan, I’d be hugely disappointed.

I worked at VS for a while and the one thing I learned is NEVER buy anything at full price, things are always on sale and will always go on sale because everything they sell is overpriced in an attempt to make the brand seem luxurious. I have 7 bras that all originally sold for $60 a piece...I bought each of them for $5-$10 on clearance.

Thank you, I was just thinking this. I'm not saying the box isn't a rip-off, but one of Alexandria's mistakes is simply calculating the perfume cost solely on volume of the actual product. And that is NEVER how it's priced. The smaller the bottle, the more expensive per oz. it usually is. (And a lot of that has to do simply with the cost of packaging. The bottle might hold 1/10 the perfume, but it probably only costs 1/2 the large bottle from the manufacturer, and that cost is factored into the product itself.)

I just bought rollerball bottles of Glamour and Intense off of Mercari because of her reviews. I love peach smells also. * Received my rollerballs and I love the Glamour and same, I don't dislike Intense, but it's very different than what I normally wear. I'm not sure when I would ever wear it.

When I was in high school in the 90s, Victoria's Secret had THE BEST pajama pants you could find anywhere, super comfy with all kinds of different designs that I will fully admit to wearing as daytime pants on a regular basis. I suggest you contact VS customer service and request a price adjustment. Black Friday price was $117, which seems more justifiable for what you got. Also, come on, it's an exact repeat of last year. And since advent calendars are supposed to be a surprise every day, you wouldn't know you were about to be disappointed by a duplicate until you wee well into it.

If you like the smell of it them buy it. My husband loves the scent of their love spell. I think it's peach with some other things. They have lotions to match all the perfumes. It would be nice to get each scent in each product. Maybe the intense will smell better on your skin.

When there is sticky residue from stickers and labels, rubbing alcohol works the best. I love that you tell us how they smell. I have such bad reactions to perfumes that I never get to wear them. But definitely try rubbing alcohol where it’s sticky. Put your pups for me, please. I love when they pop their heads up in the background. 🥰

Hi Alexandria! I looked up the perfume minis and there's a fragrance trio for $50. Also they are 0.25 oz compared to the rollerballs which are 0.23 oz at around $20 so I would think VS would sell the minis for about $25 if they did. Usually minis like that are sold as a set though because they are usually thought of as gifts or vanity pieces.

I found a VS Tease mini perfume set (set of 4) selling for $60 & $91.04 (oddly specific 🤔). Divided by 4, makes each mini bottle $15 - $22.76. Personally, I’d expect VS to sell the mini bottles at $15-$19 each. Highly overpriced, sure. But as we all know, the larger bottles are always a better value than the smaller ones.

Also perfumes arent sold like that either. Take juicy for example. 1.7 oz is $93 while the 3.4 oz is $115. By the way you are doing your math if they didnt sell the 1.7 you would of priced it $57. which you can see by the way they sell it is incorrect. They dont sell it just by volume. I love some of their perfumes, however the one I do love I understand they stopped making. Yeah that's a no go for me! I've been in their store and even a pair of panties that is basically string was so over priced, that I could take what they charge for one pair, and buy enough materials to make my own lifetime amount of them and still have change left over!, that is if I wanted to floss there!
