I'm old now, but as a young woman I would have loved more than anything to meet Elvis. I always fantasized about, well, you know what. But now I would just love to talk to him. In interviews that I've seen, he seems so uncomfortable giving an interview. Totally different on stage. I just want to have a conversation with him about stuff. It means so much to me these days that young people have positive reactions to Elvis' music on KZbin. I feel he's finally getting the respect he deserved as a very, very talented artist. And, Danny, yes, you must put the toilet seat down. I've fallen in more than once in the middle of the night. Please, please, please, if you love your wife, put the toilet seat down. LOL

Thank you Teresa and Danny for mentioning my friend Belle Salisbury. Belle has bladder cancer and is also fighting sepsis. She entered the hospital on December 7th and is still there. I just quit trying to learn about Elvis through the on line Fan Clubs because alot of people Were snarky and hateful. I was pretty shocked about that because there were so many arguing about different people and situations in his life, as if they were each told by the man himself someway or another what really went on and what he thought of it all himself. Long story short, I'm so glad you all share your memories and knowledge of him and his times with us because that's undebatably as real as it can get. I love listening to you. My birthday is December 21st. I will be 76 years old. We were just at Graceland the end of July. My mom always put up our Christmas Tree on my birthday. My husband's birthday is today so we always put up our Christmas tree between our Birthday's. We go to a tree farm and cut a fresh tree down. I put my decorations up the weekend after Thanksgiving and don't take them down till January 2nd. Just thought I would share.
