When I have ever performed any magic it never looks good from where I'm standing, in fact I swear people can see right through me and know how it's done even if they all give you a round of applause. I think it possibly stems back to when I had a wonderful Christmas present in a yellow oblong box called the "David Nixon Magic Box", my Dad showed me how to do many of the tricks but my little brother always wanted to spoil the trick when I showed it to other people, I wouldn't quite have minded so much but he usually told them before I had even finished: rather like saying the punchline of a joke before a comedian has finished. My lesson was never to practice in front of the family, especially little inquisitive brothers! Thanks for uploading, It's bought back many happy memories :-)

Brilliant. Funny and clever. With a resurgence of magic on TV (see BGT and America's Got Talent the last couple of years), why your show isn't revived, I have no idea. Can only hope. :)

Robert Brookes "But I don't understand the end." A slot machine / fruit machine / one armed bandit often has lemons as one of the images that are spinning around. Match three of a kind and you win money, hence the coins.
