4:44 the rabbit gets into the hat. Paul had a long career on TV and he was usually entertaining and very inventive. They were good times. He wasn't all that keen on the BBC, like many others, but Paul's patter and personality made him very successful. He was The Man, and he fooled millions for donkeys years. RIP.

Paul was a great magician i watched him growing up as a kid in the 80s. his patter and jokes were brilliant, But i didn't always understand them as a kid but do now as an adult. Well im going to stop now because im rabbiting on !! RIP Paul

I saw him do a variation of this in 2011 at the Edinburgh festival. He didn’t do the arm going deep into the hat. The table was longer and there was a lot of going back and forth. He pulled a toy rabbit out of the hat a few times. When the sheet dropped you could see the motor which was running the hat back and forth. That was all very good and funny but the finish was beautiful. He was at one end of the table with the toy rabbit and the hat was at the other. He’s talking and then you just heard someone go “oh” from the audience. The real rabbit had popped up in the hat at the other end of the table. Wonderful bit of misdirection, especially for the kids

When the rabbit in the car goes out, the rabbit is placed into the hat from behind the table. Notice how he has the hat against his chest afterwards - subtle and amazing. ^^;

The rabbit coming out from the hat trick was already revealed by THE MASKED MAGICIAN six years ago. However I like to note that the hole in the hat is very small that the rabbit can sit in there comfortably.

I think I know how he did it :p At: 4:41 when he holds the hat behind the table and sets the blanket in place again, I think he uses his hands to move a rabbit (that's was probably in a box behind the table) into the hat. :p

just watched a HALLOWEEN SHOW OF PAUL DANIELS and earlyer the one with the masked magician i switched that one off as i think magic should not be shown how its done it takes the FUN and the mystery out of magic i all have liked paul daniels . and david nixon. how i wish there was some dvds of his shows aspesally his hHALLOWEEN ONES HE BROUGHT LAUGHTER AND MISTERY TO HIS SHOWS JANET GREENING

There is two sides to the table... the front part, and the part at the back with a guy and the rabbit. The car/rabbit is a distraction whilst Paul switches it with the other hat. The "pretend" rabbit is moved by the guy at the back. The way I see it....

Beautifully done. I would like to point something. I noticed the act is slow. That means back 50y ago time was slower..life was not fast..no social stress, no phones, no internet, no computers. You could enjoy full day and night, but as today standarts that will be equalent of 2 days

To those who might be wondering. The table has 2 sides. and at 4:43 he takes the hat behind the table, where the rabbit will jump in. As he will show you later on, the rabbit is specifically dressured to go in the hat.

First things is he didn't show the hat first. Maybe there was a hidden person in rear part of the table who controlled this stuck rabbit to the table and released rabbit with car. By the way its an axiomatic that there was a hole in his hat. And rabbit was released by person in the hat through the hole in the table below the hat. This trick is not difficult to understand. But no one should torture animals and birds for profession. And is it needed to show half naked laady in this show? She is showing her cleveg. Is it a show of se xuality?
