WALKING WITH GOD BY ENOCH WHO STOOD ALONE FOR GOD (GENESIS 4-5)
Today, if there was a book we all need to read, it would be titled "How to Walk with God for 300 Years" by Brother Enoch.
What an unbelievable life that man had. He lived in the worst time on earth. Out of a billion human beings, only 8 Noahans and 1 Enoch were spiritual and righteous. The world was so bad that God had to sweep it all away.
Through it all, there was a light shining that never went out, a voice speaking that never was silenced, and a life lived that could not be bought out, bribed, or wasted with selfish gratification. Enoch was God's man. Enoch will forever be an example of how to stand alone for God.
Please open with me to God's Inspired record of the Lost World, Genesis 5:21-24. In these verses, we find that God gives us only a 48-word (in our English Bible) introduction to one of the truly remarkable heroes of His Word.
Meet the Enoch who walked with God.
Meet Enoch, the mysterious saint, yet a man who, like us, was called to walk through a world screaming toward calamity, destruction, and God's judgment.
Meet Enoch, a prophet of God's judgment and a portrait of God's grace.
Our text this morning continues a pattern we have been seeing.
Abel illustrates that Genuine Faith prompts Genuine worship of God.
Enoch illustrates that Genuine Faith prompts a Genuine Walk with God.
Noah illustrates that Genuine Faith prompts Genuine work for God.
First, we must see this is a new concept in the Book of Genesis. We have seen that Abel knew what it was to worship by faith, but the Scriptures do not share any insights on how he walked with God. This brings us to one of the fundamental truths of God's Word. Revelation in Scripture is progressive. Abel received some revelation, and Enoch received more. And to us has been given the ultimate earthly revelation of God's Son and His Word. And here it is in our hands!
This book opens with Adam and Eve, who walked and talked with God in the Garden. However, when they fell and were thrown out of the Garden, they ceased to walk and talk with Him.
But in chapter 5, we see that man's ultimate destiny is reintroduced. Enoch illustrates for all of us what it means to be in fellowship with God. Enoch portrays our true destiny.
Enoch experienced the fellowship with God that Adam and Eve had forfeited.

However, there are still some things which are even still today included in The Bible and yet qualify as no longer being relevant. This move by God is because irrelevance itself is a topic to be understood. This is why some examples of "no longer relevant" still remain - see Mark 7-14 and 7-15 as the primary example of this. So there are a few things which are in The Bible which will not be relevant to us other than their irrelevance and some meaning which we derive from this change to irrelevance. Anything which is not in The Bible will not be required, and can even be harmful for us in these modern times.

This channel has a microphone to the world, they send their message not in private to their group of believers, but they send this message out to the world in public. Jesus also sent His disciples out into the world in public. Jesus explained to them how to tell others about Jesus and about The Gospel of Christ. However, this channel goes much further beyond those directions and preaches and predicts about things which had not even been Written yet when those disciples were sent out to the public. These are things which foment hate and which claim the end times is very near and imminent in a manner which produces great worry over tomorrow, worry about one's own children and worry about ww3. They even appear to be encouraging a path of war for those who would seek to know God. I asked you about that, but you did not respond directly to that. Do you refuse to use discernment? If so, I would understand that. If not, then your comments still leave me confused. You said to me , don't be "clever." Don't get your knowledge from sinners. Jesus said who is worthy for that in Matthew 23-8. Also read who, specifically to never, ever follow in Luke 21-8. This channel does lots of harm to the exact people who Jesus said he is trying to save. Most preachers spin The Bible into interpretations which only serve themselves and actually harm others. The YT churches are worse than the mega churches - there, I made my discernment about them. Evil and worse evil. The mega churches do it through mass hypnotism and the YT churches add to that a "hollywood" style. It's entertainment, it's not helping God.

Greetings, the scriptures do not teach that the world ends, nowhere in scripture is this taught, nowhere. The scriptures do not teach a rapture, nowhere in the scriptures is this taught, nowhere. There will not be a rapture today, tomorrow, next month, next year, in a decade, in a century, ever. The scriptures do teach an end of age. The scriptures do teach about the "last days" and "latter days". Almost every prophet talks about the last/latter days, which is defined by the prophets as the last days of their covenant. This covenant was called the Mt. Sinai/Mosaic covenant. Jesus Christ was born under this covenant, also known as the law of Moses. This covenant was the "age" he was born under. Christ was sent by his Father to fulfill the law of this covenant. Who did the law pertain to? Israel This is why Christ says: But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Christ makes it very clear when he would return, in the lifetime of his audience. He said: But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. He said: Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. He told the apostles/disciples to take the gospel of the kingdom of heaven to the known world. This was accomplished: Romans 10:18, 16:26, Colossians 1:23, now comes the end of that age, the age of that covenant, the age of that law. When the temple was destroyed this was the "last day" of that age/ old covenant. The same last day Christ mentions 3 times in John 6. This was when the revelation/resurrection event of Jesus Christ occurred. Every New Testament writer told their immediate audience they would witness the revelation of Jesus Christ. No one knows the day or hour. Until they are told. Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass. This book was written circa 65 A.D. So, Jesus Christ has known about his imminent return for one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight years. Let that sink in; Revelation was fulfilled 66 - 70 A.D., per the testimony of God himself, Jesus Christ, and every single New Testament author, they all said the same thing. Christ said: For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. If a person denies what Christ said about his return, destroying the temple (called heaven and earth by the Jews), ending the curse of the law, which brought death, the last enemy Christ destroyed at his coming, then you must make a choice. In the morning a burnt offering is required, as well as the evening burnt offering, because you are still living under the law. Christ said: For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. "These" days were 2,000 years ago. Rev 12 says Satan came after the church After Christ ascended. Daniel says the AC is to wear out the saintsn. The last day consists of ressurection of all dead and living saints( living must shed their physical bidy- death to the flesh) and the destruction of all evil for the Kingdom begins with a renewal of all things . After the millennium then earth is destroyed by God as well as Satan destroyed. Rev 20 he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands- they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 7And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison 8and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth. Rev 21 appears to say the earth will be destroyed "1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more". There will be no need for a sun or the stars or moon. It may not be destroyed but it will be forgotten as the way it is now. You are right, it doesn't say destroyed , although it does say pass away. However God decides to perform these miracles of changing the old perception of the world and the new world may very well be just by changing it- it is no longer recognizable as it was. Greetings, the resurrection Paul preached is defined as the second coming of Christ. Paul called it the resurrection, probably because Christ said, "I am the resurrection". Peter and John called the second coming the revelation. Men teach doctrines of men. Flesh has nothing to do with the gospel. Christ said the flesh profiteth nothing. Corpses lying in the ground for thousands of years awaiting resuscitation is not what the scriptures teach, not even close. This would be the God of the dead. The antichrist was a first century person. For your consideration: The man of sin, the son of perdition 2 Thessalonians 2:3: Greetings friend, this message is sent in love. Revelation was written circa 65 A.D. and fulfilled 66 -70 A.D. Almost every prophet talks about the "last/latter" days of the Mt.Sinai/Mosaic covenant. The "last days" are defined as the last days of this old covenant. Daniel gives the dates when the new covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-43) would be established, chapters 2:44, 7:14, 9:24, while Rome is in power, this is the second coming/resurrection that all of the New Testament writers preached. Christ was very specific pertaining to his return date. Matthew 16:27-28. For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Matthew 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. Christ told the priesthood standing in front of him: Matthew 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. In the lifetime of his audience, this generation, Christ returned, per his own testimony. Pertaining to the man of sin, read Jocephus, whom was an eyewitness to the revelation of Jesus Christ. Wars of the Jews book 4, chapter 3, section 7. The revelation that Peter told his audience they would witness, 1 Peter 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Ananus was the high priest in the first century A.D. when the song of Moses (Deuteronomy 32) was being fulfilled, "latter days", being sung in Revelation 15. He was murdered by the Idumeans and replaced with a "false" high priest named Phannias. There is a possibility that Phannias is the man of sin spoken of by Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. Obviously, the Thessalonian church members knew who was holding back the man of sin, (Paul said they knew him). 2 Thess 2:5-6 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. The Thessalonians would have known the priests in Jerusalem. They would have known that Ananus was the high priest, until he was murdered. Thus, Ananus was holding back the man of sin, Phannias. John also told his audience the antichrist was coming, it is the last time (he repeats this statement twice). 1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. And follows with verse 28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. Letting his audience know that they are about to witness the revelation/resurrection of Jesus Christ. At the end of Johns gospel, John 21:18-24, we find Christ telling Peter he was going to die a martyr and why does it matter to him if John is still alive when he returns? Christ returned, destroyed the temple in judgment, fulfilling the law. Christians and Jews are still looking for a Messiah, that the scriptures teach has already come. You pointed out this verse "38Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living, for all live to him" I find in the Bible that it says by Christ himself that He will return to destroy evil and resurrect his church. Denying the promise of the resurrection is denying the truth in Christs words and work. His resurrection served to prove there will be a resurrection for followers. There is a teaching specifically about the denying of the resurrection. The covenant is the blood covenant ... So that even though you may die you Will live eternally with Him. That verse in Luke ( recorded in other gospels too) you pointed out what is coincidentally a part of a teaching about the resurrection. The Sadducees are part of the "vipers". They came to try to put doubt in others minds by asking a question they thought cornered Christ. Verses 27-40. The scornful question of the Sadducees bearing on the doctrine of the resurrection, and the Lord's reply. The Sadducees had contemp for Christ. They acknowledged as Divine the books of Moses, but refused to see in them any proof of the resurrection, or indeed of life after death. The Lord comes in direct conflict with the Sadducees . "Then some of the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to question Him." Their silly question was " "So tell us, whose wife will she be in the resurrection? For all seven were married to her!”. Jesus certainly rebuked them and told them " those who are considered worthy of taking part in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage.". There is a resurrection and there is not any marriages in heaven like now in this age. Jesus teaches about the resurrection as well as the prophets and apostles. As you know He calls Himself The resurrection and the life ( not the rapture ). John 5 :29 they will rise again. Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience judgment. We are not living in immortal bodies and we are not experiencing eternal life. This will come after Christ returns. You are familiar with acts and of Paul's claims. In acts he says 30“God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. 31For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.” 32When they heard Paul speak about the resurrection of the dead, some laughed in contempt. I do not think the Sadducees and deniers have it right. Christians believe all of the Bible.

@@markmoore3530 Christ did not exactly "return" - he was resurrected from the dead. He will return from heaven . He came from His place in heaven to earth as a man. He died , resurrected and is now in heaven at the right hand. He will return to us again but not as a savoir nor as a man. He is the only one to have descended down and then ascended up. Acts 1:11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!” It sounds like you don't believe in all of the Bible. I hope one day you will. It isn't easy with all these lies and alterior stories destroying the teachings.
