Why there is no General category included in 50% home state reservation in NIT Nagaland (as per normal JEE mains norms)? Where the other category candidates, whose home state is Nagaland (assigned by very dull NTA JEE rules) will go to claim their home state quota?

In home state quota everyone general , obc , sc ,St if they are from that state then they get home state reservation quota. But if this is not the case in any colleg then thats the odd one out because generally this is the rule.

@@Toppers_study Placement are not very good, this year 12 companies recruited 59 students and the highest package was 16 LPA. Here mostly students prepare for GATE or off-campus placements Academics are good, except for some, all teachers are punctual and try their best to complete the syllabus even by taking extra classes. There is only one fest called ojas. This year it was a 2 day event, I can't tell you much about that because I didn't attend it but you can check out it's videos on yt. There are many interesting clubs like photography club, astro club..these clubs organise various competitions. However 1st year students can't register in clubs. There is also an idea lab where there are various machines. The objective of this lab is to teach students functioning of these machines so in future if they have an idea for a startup, they can make a prototype here to raise funds. There is a subject called "smart manufacturing" in which we study these machines and perform practically in the lab. One more thing you should know is that BIT Durg has surrendered it's autonomous status which means that all exams and results of the new batch will be handled by csvtu so delays can be expected in exam dates and result release. It was a recent event so not a lot of people know about this.
