Secrets of Eternity was released in January 2015. This set introduced the Infernoids, a series of monsters that can special summon themselves to the field by banishing other Infernoid monsters from either the hand or the graveyard. Notable cards in this set include Farfa, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss, Qliphort Monolith, Uni-Zombie, Nephe Shaddoll Fusion and a card that would bolster Satellarknight to combat the Burning Abyss Shaddoll Meta, Stellarknight Constellar Diamond.

I once read an article interviewing a yugioh card artist. She started off drawing Lolita of all things, and I believe she caught the attention of Kazuki Takahashi, so she went on to draw the artwork for the Charmer cards and then the Traptrix later down the line. Unfortunately I can't remember her name.

the art-work is done by several people as far as i know. Although, some kids do submit design that are even featured in the anime (Drill Synchron and Drill Warrior)

+KanzenSaimin yuya, sora, numerous moronic nonsensical edits, and making a show aimed at teenagers and trying to make it for a much younger audience. given the blatant interdimensional war... I still cringe at "sent to the stars". I dislike them changing names but I don't inherently have an issue with that provided they make sense. changing ruri to lulu makes zero sense as does Selena to Celina. if they named them Ashley and let's say blair, fine, but come on. I also have a big issue with this edit from shun and sora first duel where shun ranks up and a lds duelist mention how shun on a completely different level than the exceeds guy and the synchro guy says no, he's on a different rank. the dub changed that second phrase to yes he's on a different level. that's doesn't make any sense. given how serious the show is I am very upset with the dubs portrayal or yuzu, yuya (mostly his voice actor), every yusho dueltainer, and yuya's mom. I do however like gong, most of the time. and I do like Frederick though that's probably because his Japanese counterpart was constantly shaking his junk in my face. given what happened with gx and 5ds I don't think all of arc v will be dubbed. basically the japan version is far more mature in almost every category. they don't edit out nonsensical bullshit because it might offend the Christians or soccer moms. this leads to a show where the character are mostly multidimensional and have various arcs that evolve their characters. my only criticism is that the main plot takes a while to get going but I am okay with it given that the plot is so worth the wait.

uh tekking.... the entire burning abyss deck including dante is maybe $75 at the moment and maybe $100 if you want to make it somewhat competitive (raigek). Last I checked Dante was 15-20 bucks a card and you need 3. virgil was like 5 and even if rubic stayed at 10, which it isnt, you only need 1. the rest of the cards are rares or commons. 60 bucks for those 5 cards (you only need 1 virgil, an argument can be made for 2), graff, cir, scarm, farba, tourguide, fire lake, traveler and the BA... like I said 75, which compared to damn near every other deck... its like nothing. the only other deck more competitive thats cheaper is DDD.

+Senshi Kori compare that to pepe, the new top deck, which if built right is somewhere in the neighborhood of $1000, maybe more, pending on how much 3 of the new cards for it go for. but burning abyss being 75... used to be at least 300. but if you want a competetive deck, buy 3 of the recent structure for about 30 bucks, you have most of your main, side and a good portion of the extra deck. maybe spend 20 bucks and get a big eye draccosack and utopia beyond... even without Raigeki you'd be able to beast most decks not running the newest set. solemn strike is a bitch as is cyber dragon infinity and performapal pendulum sorcerer. all 3 of those currently go for more than the entire burning abyss deck. and if tekking wanted he could get int reletively competetive yugioh. I'm not saying it'd be easy just that it wouldn't be anywhere near impossible.

uh that metaphys horus was an Ultimate. which are no longer in common packs... Tekking, how about you review yugioh? with the monarch structure coming at the end of the month you could get into the competitive scene. well, the somewhat competitive scene. perhaps you could recap certain tournaments, regionals, locals... stuff like that. the new monarch structure is insanely competitive. hell, before Breakers of shadow the recent structure deck powercreaped damn near everything in the game. The monarch structure deck was for a long time the second best deck in japan.

look. it's the not knowing which card will be in the pack. between 5 of us, a group of friends and I bought all the dragons dragons of legend 2 packs from 3 different stores looking for mirror force dragon. there is a hunger, a thirst for opening new packs for us yugioh addicts.. it is too much. I went from 120 cards to over 1400 in like a month. It's not to be be taken lightly. I can watch it forever.
