How? Especially when it comes to Bhutan.. he seems dumb. He is giving all the wrong answers. 1. Bhutan took our foreign policy back only in 2007 after signing the revised friendship treaty of 1947. 2. The 80’s and 90’s problem in Bhutan with the Nepalies speaking population was R&AW work. It worked in Sikkim, but not in Bhutan because unlike Sikkim, the Drukpas were in majority in Bhutan. In Sikkim, unchecked immigration has resulted in making the original Sikkimish Bhutias, indegenious Lapchas and other groups into a minority group in their own country. 3. The 90’s problem is not a Hindu Genocide, its simple and illegal immigration and Anti National issue, so why would India protest when it’s wrong doing were exposed although Both India and Bhutan looked away from this matter pretending to not know about it or dismissing it as an internal matter. If Bhutan’s 90’a problem is a Hindu Genocide then the Khalistani issue of Punjab is also a Sikh Genocide and like wise all other Anti National Movements in India. 4. All of Bhutan’s Border with China is not demarcated at all. India was sitting and negotiating Bhutan’s Border with China until 2007. After 2007 India Do not sit at the negotiation Table but still hold significant influence Hence our Dispute with China is still on.

When you see that both Atal ji and Modi ji ignored years of institutional knowledge and lived experience of evil Pakistan and thought they could achieve peace unilaterally , one realizes the folly of such egotistic ventures. Less said about the PMs earlier to Atal ji, the better. 59:32

Thanks to Sanjay ji for hosting a very good JD discussion with Tilak Devasher. One would have liked to listen to the erudite views of Tilak ji regarding the origins of the Baloch problem also, right from 1947, when Jinnah annexed Balochistan without the consent of its ruler and people. As both discussants mentioned, Pakistan is an artificial construct based on religion. But as its military heads and puppet governments have realized, a religion with exclusivist beliefs cannot form the firm foundations of a country. It has become a victim of its own internal dissensions and machinations. But with Pakistan's history and educational system built on hatred towards India, it is going to keep sinking into its own quick sand of falsehoods. In its concocted 'desert' fables, "the land of the pure" is becoming little more than a mirage! One would have also liked to hear more about the future of the Pakistan-China relationship which is now becoming an economic 'drag' on China. Tilak ji's views on what China hoped to gain by supplying Pakistan with nuclear bomb technology decades ago, and the current calculus of the Chinese leadership would have been interesting to know. Clearly, even in Afghanistan, it is not Pakistan which carries much weight in China's relationship with the Taliban-ruled state.

Our thinking on strategic planning in geopolitics is some what very silly: 1) during liberation of Bangladesh, we should have made chicken neck area wider by getting some area, we did not why? 2) Bhutan to be independent state of India with one representative in our parliament. We do not have vision. 3) Maldive at the time of water crisis, we should have made this as a non contiguous state of India. Why we did not because we are idiot. 4) why we have away whole winning part of Pakistan and not keeping POK is also idiotic planning. 5) why Baluchistan can not join India as it has great strategic geopolitical interest in future. We have no plan to think ahead at all. I can say more on our Indian silliness. Yes we are better but not enough.

Five more people were arrested in connection with the gangrape of a Spanish national in Dumka district of Jharkhand even as the survivor left Dumka along with her husband on their bikes amid heavy security. This has taken the total number of those arrested to eight. The foreign national had, in her FIR, said seven people were involved.
