I have seen many videos on Katas Raj temple complex, but most of them didn't have correct history and many had very poor visuals but the way you have told the complete story from start - telling about Shiv n Satti, Havan Kund, Shakuntala university and Albiruni till Satghara and the Pandu kaurav connection.. it was extremely detailed and thorough history of the place and you have very beautifully put all the visual presentation. Hats off BRAVO

Wow, wow, wow... what an awesome video this one... Must watch kinds for everyone.. This is such a beautiful recapture, explanation, and preservation of history, culture, and heritage.. I am kind of impressed and pleasantly surprised to see such nostalgia and importance to Hindu Holy places.. if which, in India, all we hear is deliberate destruction and demolition of Hindu shrines and all... but here is a shining example of a noble soul so appreciatively and nostalgically explaining the heritage and culture of the land and the people who lived there... Hats off to you, Sir.. thanks a million of doing such wonderful videos..

This place katas raj was visited mainly from Punjab area prior to partition. I am from this area. Although we have many Hindus in Pakistan, no Hindus from Pakistan in frontier n Sind province were visiting this place after partition. They only started coming to this place after the place was publicised. The place may have history for thousands of years but have no physical evidence after excavation. Prior to these mundirs , there was budhist stupa in katas which was destroyed during gupta rule.

These temples were built during gupta period in around 4th-5th century. Although the area is old but there is no physical evidence found before gupta period. In Maha Bharat , name of this place was not given , but were only mentioned that pondivas went in wilderness in west.

Pandu k bare likha gya ha or kaha gya ha k woh katas raaj k in mandir k samny wali jaga rahty tha caves main. Dusri baat jo Hari Singh ki hawali kaha gya ha yeah kisi ko nahi pta kia ha main bachpun sa is jaga ja raha ho is haweli k koi darwazy nahi hoty thy sirf chardiwari c thi baad main 2005 main is k andr kamry bna diya gae or baad main darwazy lagae gae jin per kanwal k phool dikha kr isy haweli bna diya gya. Lakin is haweli k samny ak choti haweli ha jo angrez dour main check post hoa krti thi. In mandiro k bahot bury halaat tha. Jo ab baradari bnai hoi ha hoven kund k naam sa yaha kuch nahi tha ak diwar ka kona tha. Shiv mandir or yeah sare kuch bhi nahi tha sirf nishaan tha. Mostly yeah sab kuch renovation k doran dobara bnay gae

Then u haven't seen my 2nd video on katas raj caves.. pandus took first refuge there, but they didn't stay in there for long.. those all places are renovated based on original milestones so there is no gap in history, everything can be seen in the video and history is all correct so no worries

This SHIVALINGAM was established at KATASRAJ MANDIR by LORD KRISHNA JI with his own hands nearly 5500 years ago during his visit to meet 5 Pandav brother's of MAHABARAT epic who were staying at this place during their 13 years exile from HASTINAPUR .
