Great Video I remember those old windows on houses in Goa. Many were simply thrown out when the houses were renovated. And lots of new houses are also made of the laterite stone as there are loads of quarries where they are cut into blocks. Cheaper than traditional bricks.

This is genuinely the first time ive seen someone go to goa and actually engage and acknowledge in our history and the deeply rooted colonial past. It hurts when people only care about partying when goa is so interesting
@BeijaminRebelo11 күн бұрын
I'll correct you on that, that Goa wasn't a colony but a territory of Portugal and the capital of Portuguese east empire, that's why we are Portuguese by birth, unlike any Portuguese colony

@LondonkiLali9 ай бұрын
I do but I’ve been enough times now that it gets easier. Just have to never ever drink the tap water. I deal with it by taking imodium if it gets really bad, but otherwise just have plain rice and roti and curd and bananas for a few days until I recover.

What? The Brits invented the Aryan invasion theory, destroyed our Gurukul system, and brought missionaries all over India- why do you think NorthEast India is 99% Christian? They also fragmented Hindu society by implementing a caste system, etc. But I can't blame you; this is the result of 70 years of pseudo-secular education un der Khangress rule.

@amitray4105 as goans we are different the chatolic love and view portuguese as their own because of the same culture and aswell that Goa was a oversea territory of portugal and till today goans born before 1961 as well as their 2 generation can get portuguese passport ❤

Your pronunciation of CHONAK is horrible. Including FONTAINHAS.. HEY we Goans know why they put Roosters. How dare you say that Goans do not know. Babazinh's and Ritz are not the very best places. By the way it's not Chourizo, It's Chouris. You guys tell us Goans about our Stuff 😂
@LondonkiLali10 ай бұрын
Firstly, I never said Goans didn’t know. I said people who move to the area don’t know. As in, outsiders who aren’t goan. Secondly, I never said Babazins and Ritz were ‘the best’ places, they are just places I went to. Thirdly, I never said it was Chourizo, I said it tasted like Chourizo - which is what we call Chouris in the uk. Sorry for pronunciation, maybe it’s cos of my accent. 😄
@BeijaminRebelo11 күн бұрын
It's hard for them to admit that Goans are actually Portuguese
