@@averageSE In all honesty though, when you’re not being attacked by the Skinner Brothers, Tall Trees is a pretty nice region. It’s also pretty refreshing to step into the previous RDR1 world with improved graphics and more immersive gameplay, graphics, and secrets (A.K.A. : LORE!).

For the sun worshiper, what if that guy is actually the god Helios? He’s very obsessed with the sun and states that he hates Prometheus (which can be metaphorical I guess). Prometheus stole fire from the gods and gave it to mankind which is why humans don’t really need hot weather to stay warm or the sun for light. Also after his statue got destroyed in Rhodes, maybe his powers as a god got weakened? And then with the Christianization of Greece, he probably lost a huge amount of his powers since a lot of people stopped believing in him which is why he just wanders the world. Also in some myths, Apollo replaces him as the sun god which can be why he’s on earth and he keeps reminiscing about his old status of being the god of the sun. Ik this can sound overanalyzing, but with the strange man and ghosts and fortune teller and other supernatural things in this game, it has a good chance of making sense right?

Rio Bravo in rdr2 is just my least fav area. You have to purposely go there due to the cliffs. But its main purpose was a transitory county to Mexico, kind of how Bluewater Marsh is a transitory county to New Hanover. Even some of the collectibles are down at the river

The things they didnt include in RDR2 will always baffle me, I mean why take out the catfish after all that work had been done building the lore? Surely it couldnt have been that hard to animate considering its just a bigger verion of something you could already catch in the game?

i wish Rockstar did a deluxe remaster for RDR1, just like capcom did with dead rising deluxe remaster that pretty much is a remake, the engine was change for the new recent one, seing the recent and new graphics of RDR2 in RDR1 in a official remaster or deluxe remaster would be preety good. a lot of people didn't even played RDR1 because is old and the graphics are old, so people don't value RDR1 like it deserves, most people only mentioned RDR2 because its their first game only game that they played from the RDR series, and in technical aspect it have the most recent and better graphics and modern animations between both RDR.
