For any book to go into the New Testament, a criteria was established as one it had to cross reference the Old Testament. Some books were considered possibly legitimate but couldn’t be validated so were considered extra biblical reading! Which what’s the origins of these books and is there anything to validate them?

@@jiva1955yeah Paul the roman persecuted the Christians, get a big say in the newtestament, he never met Jesus or listened to him preach, Thomas is band, Mary magdalena books are band and her and her followers are extradited, Paul, Roman, Constantine, Roman empire, set the Catholic cult up to control the masses 😂

@@Noone-rt6pw A significant portion of the content in the Gospels and epistles lacks direct cross-references to the Old Testament, raising important questions about their origins and authenticity. Who determined the legitimacy of these texts? This question of validation can be extended to the entire Bible. Given the historical context, the status of the Bible as the definitive Word of God remains, at best, uncertain. After all, the canon we have today was not finalized until the 3rd century CE, when it was largely shaped and endorsed by the Catholic Church and secular authorities of the time. This process, influenced by both religious and political agendas, prompts further skepticism regarding the Bible’s divine origin and its true nature as the only definitive sacred text in existence?

@ There’s bibles with cross references in the medians more than sufficient to validate them. Then there were other criteria as well. Old Testament Jews did well with the Torah and Tanahk as well.

Jesus and Buddha both suffered the same fate. They both wanted to teach people about personal spiritualism and condemned institutionalized religion but after their passing their disciples made them into institutionalized religion. So in the end people go back to old ways rather than embrace the new things and move forward. Even bible the current accepted version shows Jesus as a peaceful entity but his followers committed so many atrocities in his name. So good turns evil and profit making tool.😮
