This was an amazing find guys so deceiving from the outside. So many preserved items inside. Im glad its hidden away harder for vandals to find. Some stuff needs to be in a museum so many beautiful items. What a wonderful time capsule. With it been so remote you can see that it's just going to left to rot and collapse, the history lost. The small shovel looked like a ceremonial one, given to VIPs who planted a tree/broke ground for ages building etc. Also fun fact the old pound coin is as old as you Dave, (fellow '83 baby)

So much of these way older homes are located far from city life. Quite the love story, but a sad ending once someone passes away. Seems like these remnants of a home and things left behind can become our once grandparents home. Life is short, you never know when your time is up, and the things that were important are not that important if not passed on to the next generation. Thanks for the tour!

Yes to Mark coming back with you. You make a great team. This is a beautiful house. I love all the woodwork along the ceilings and how ornate it is. A lot of wall paper there though. You keep talking about hoarding but you have to know that most of that stuff had places to go for proper storage. Yes, there are quite a few books there for sure. That is why we have libraries here in the US so you could read a book and then return it to get another one. They need to be donated to either schools or libraries so that someone else can enjoy them as well. We all leave a lot of stuff behind when we go but most of what you see is the normal stuff that gets used daily or on the holidays. Thank you for sharing and have a great day.
