How do you prevent your drip emitters from clogging with the dutch bucket system?

We have a disk filter after the dosatrons to filter everything before heading out to the emitters. Never had a clog

No not at all. They produce the same as when they were young plants. I just make sure the nutrients are correct.

How old are your tomato plants? We have a very similar set up but up on a stand. We do cherry tomatoes. Our 10 pla ta are about 7 months old.

We started them in Nov 2023 I like the stands for the bato buckets.

I see "vine ripened" tomatoes at the grocery store. is there a reason they keep the vines on those tomatoes and you don't? is it just a marketing thing?

yes, those are clusters that are harvested. Looks cool to consumers but I wouldn't pay any more for them.
