I really like your content. So much hocus pocus around pool equipment! A good stroke is the most important thing and I also can shoot fine with a house cue + a few pieces of sandpaper 😊. This said though, I do think certain tips provide more "feel" and allow more "control". A local friend is about to release a new tip that has a beautiful feel to it.

You are a fountain of information. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience. It matters that you are both a player and a cue maker. One enhances the other.

I am speaking with my channel partner about this very topic. While CF shafts have their benefits I do have my own reservations about them and do not want to discourage people from purchasing them. I may elect to do a video on this topic, but will have to do so in a non biased way.

Hello Chris, It is a little different with me as I produce one cue at a time and once it is completed, I sell it. With that being said, there is really no need for a dedicated website. Almost all the cues that I produce are sold via giveaways and can be found on my personal page on Facebook.

I do not sell my cues in a way that would warrant a catalog. Each cue that I produce is a one of a kind creation. Your best bet would be to find me on Facebook here: facebook.com/share/LhV8ZkB7q1XX7u31/?mibextid=qi2Omg

What are your cue prices? Do you have a website?
@CuemakersGuild
@CuemakersGuild Ай бұрын
Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. My cues start ay $750 with the most expensive ever sold being right at $32,000.00 so you can there is a wide spectrum that makes it almost impossible to pinpoint a definitive price, Although the average cost of my cues are roughly $2,500.00 to 4,500.00

Here is an idea, as a cue maker you should be able to manipulate cue’s effective end mass to vary the cue’s natural pivot point so that it matches a customer's preferred bridge length. This would especially good for a break cue where squirt due to stroke errors are negated when the pivot point matches the bridge length. I believe that a cue’s larger diameter is more forgiving due to its greater end mass bring the cue’s natural pivot point closer to the shooter’s bridge thus minimizing squirt due to stroke errors. I also believe a small diameter/low deflection cue shaft is harder hit to due to the bridge being farther from the natural pivot point. I found this KZbin video fairly informative on this subject kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZLHooePlL2Drbs

Thank you for your comment, everything that you mentioned above is correct, but what causes the forgiveness is mainly due to the larger diameter creating a larger "sweet spot" much like a driver in a golf bag. there is a reason that the driver head is so large, but again, everything that you said is correct.

I'm sorry, but by that knowledge, you are saying that you could take a tree branch and play at your optimal potential correct? No, you could not. The information that I am providing is simply showing you how to maximize what you have already learned. No matter how good you THINK you may be, the proper tool, that being your cue, Plays a major role in your efficacy. I do agree that your fundamentals are key but so is having the proper tools to use them. I am sorry if you do not find my information to be valid or helpful to you.
