Honestly I don't know what I'd do without your tutorials. They're the single most helpful thing I've found about painting models. You have a fine art bg and that really helps me understand the mediums I'm working with before I even get started. Keep up the fantastic work 💜

What is a good product to gloss a model?
@CreativeKristenTaylor Жыл бұрын
I’ve used Liquitex High Gloss Varnish for glossing just the eyes and liked the results. If you mean glossing the entire model, I have not done that myself yet so I’m not sure if that particular product would be best, though you could certainly try it on a test piece yourself!

This was VERY helpful! Thank you so much for doing this video. On a few of the models Ive been working on, the paint will lift up after I seal the paint markings. Now I know why they are doing that 😃 Thank you so much again❤

Just the tutorial that I needed! Thank you, your tutorials are the best. I personally used to always water the paint too much, so that was an eye opener to me xD Also you saved me so much time, because I wanted to make a similiar Pinto and I never thought about just to put tape on it. May I suggest/ ask making a tutorial on dapples? I'm working on a custom of my friends horse and I'm just so frustrated

Happy to hear it! And a dapple painting tutorial is a great idea

@@CreativeKristenTaylor Of course and thanks! I would be so very thankful! I‘ve tried so many techniques, but they always end up looking... weird. Like completely out of place.

What about when doing a mottled privates on a mare, how do you do that?
@CreativeKristenTaylor2 жыл бұрын
There’s a few different ways you could paint mottling, and I showed one of those methods in this appaloosa tutorial kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqjcaoJ6lNmSpNU

yes - Appaloosa spots have a system...the spots actually have a pattern. I always laugh when I see the Breyers in the store, they just splatter spots on at random in the factory. I had two leopard appies and they really had a system to the spot madness
