Let’s say you invest 20 stocks together or in one month not together. The total amount u invest per stock for sure not 100% of ur total money, let’s say 1/20 of ur whole money. So if 50% win rate, ur final return would be 20% of your 1/20 of ur whole money. The real return is is 1% of your total investment. Of cause ur investment per stock should be bigger than 1/20, but smaller than let’s say 1/2, so ur return really depend one how much u invest for specific stock. But regardless the real return, I like Adam’s talk, learned a lot!

Dear Adam, this is yet another amazing content. Was waiting for this ever since i finished watching part 1. Thanks for sharing the insights and immense learnings on this platform. Can you please make a video on counter trend trading strategies primarily using basic price action. When a stock falls its like a falling knife. You never know where exactly it will form a base and reverse. Things look so obvious in hindsight but they aren't so obvious while trying to capture future trend reversals. Can you please share some insights on what is the right way to trade (counter trend) such falling stocks. Hello. Quick question about calculating number of shares. Say I have $10,000 in my account. However $7,000 is tied up in trades at the moment so I only have $3,000 available to make a trade. Great show, but i am not satisfied with profit target of 2R, some stocks can go to 5R, 7R, 13R, why you limit your target to 2R, is not the adage that say cut your losses and let your winner run, some 7R or more can balance 7 old losses. Can any one give an answer. May be i will be lucky and Adam Khoo will se my post and repaly to my question

When you raise your profit target, it is much harder to reach and this will subsequently lower your win rates

So i did not mean rise the profit target, forget about the profit target. What if we secure the gains buy a trailling stop, once the stock stop moving in our direction and hit the stop loss we take the profit and run.

One thing to be aware with stop losses, the stock could gap down/up beyond your stop loss and you could incur losses greater than 1R. One of the risks of swing trading.

In a gap down, you can lose more than 1R. This is why you need to avoid stocks during earnings and stock that have a tendency to gap (like Biotech). I like to trade using Options where the risk is limited to the premium you pay

Please beware of stock gap downs. 🙂👍your maximum risk per trade is not $100. Its still possible to scrape a profit but its harder than it looks.
