High Island, a Unique Ecologic Sweet Spot for Birds and Wildlife Along the Texas Coast

First things first. You need to be seriously prepared for mosquitoes when you visit High Island. Cover as much of your body as possible with clothing and bring bug spray. Don't that deter you, however. High Island is a nature lovers paradise along the Texas coast and spring is the best time to be here. If you enjoy birding and wetland wildlife this place has you covered.
