How do you fit it all in in a week?! Would you ever consider doing a weekly schedule video? I want to add stuff in, but I'm unsure of how to do that with what we already do.

We only do Anything pertaining to Language Arts and Math , Monday - Thursday we start every day at 8 and end at 12 ( my husband comes home for lunch every day) Our Fridays are dedicated to all of our Electives,, Social Studies/ History, Geography, science and Art Our time schedule is the same 8-12 .. once we start our new school year I’ll share more on our weekly schedule

How did you cut and bind these?

I heated the end with an iron ,, it kinda softens the glue , you can pull the pages off in chunks pretty easy from there .. then I use a paper cutting guillotine to make the edge a bit more even and to get rid of the rest of the glue

I agree this curriculum is pretty secular...BUT some of the passages in Americana I find to be in that white-washed "aren't we great?!" tone you get from more christian leaning history texts. I just point out discrepancies as we come across them and emphasize to my kids these books are for learning spelling, not history.

There ll be a dyslexia app for kids & adults some point don’t know when I am planning to get back to the testing of the app. Next week just had to take a break from doing this testing of the app. I ll let u when it’s out . That way homeschooling families that have Lids & Teens with dyslexia could use it! It ll be free. I am part of a Fb group for dyslexia!. Ur sons can try it out also for the testing of the app. U can pm. I can give u the link for the testing of the app. I myself struggle with dyslexia I understand it . I been told I am crazy of wanting to be a homeschooling family when I have kids on my own one day no I ll not put my feature kids in the school system. I had my former pediatrician tell me about 5 years ago my feather kids ll be autistic, dyslexia, fine motor skills with handwriting or math disability my grandad had my mom has it my two cousins on my mom’s side of the family have it my grandad had dyslexia. Pro had autism. I tend to do highlighting important information gel pen stuff bolded vocabulary words highlight them.
