You know what this comment reminded me of? The time she went to the border in, I think 2017, where the migrant children were being held away from their parents. She wore a jacket that said I Don't Give a F*ck, Do U? Everyone, including me, thought she was taking a jab at the children. Both sides make sweeping, vast generalizations with little coherence or a common goal even inside their own party, it's a giant game of clout that often doesn't have much to do with how power and influence are actually utilized within the American bureaucracy. I do not personally waste my valuable time trying to needle through the sordid details of which party's various (if executed, and how likely they are to accomplish that execution) half-baked plans might, usually incidentally, result in what I could easily constitute as clear progress. Because there's too much to consider for a nonprofessional like myself, the complexities and exchanges on this scale in every sector of government would normally be too much expenditure of effort for the layman to achieve some degree of accuracy in determining the superior choice. That's without even considering more high level difficulties like party rallying points, internal conflicts, donors, and exchanges with the opposition. Let me explain something to you that's NOT complex, and is in fact very simple. You should NOT vote for what you believe in, because the odds are very, very good that for you, like the vast majority of the population, those beliefs are misguided or blatantly wrong. Real life, particularly for a country of hundreds of millions, is way too complicated. The disagreement in the political system is not because of real debate, it's because of bad actors, financial interests, and demagogues who prey on the average person's immediate concerns and present them as a red vs blue pill, when nothing could be farther from the truth or what would really benefit the country. I'm not anti democratic though, I'm just a democratic realist. I'm not saying Trump is the most evil party possible, I'm not saying Trump is even bad (there are people far, far more qualified than me to make that assessment). I'm saying that if you think your principles and priorities are even remotely close to the crucial issues and what their solutions are, then you're either a God dam GENIUS, or, you're a fucking dumbass. Spoiler, most American voters think they're the genius, but almost all of them aren't, obviously, or they would actually agree on things. There's a near 50/50 split on most issues in the US, that's not a sign of a debate, it's the sign of a pawnsy scheme. So let me reiterate this in a way you can approach. If Trump or Kamala represents your values, your values probably suck dogshit, because both of them have a rap sheet of "positions" on a dozen topics that were obviously picked by committee for maximum general agreeability. They don't represent anyone's positions, because they're soulless and meaningless, they don't mesh together into a consistent picture of how the country should work, like what a normal person thinks when they have values. If I voted for Kamala or Trump, it would be because I listened to people who are truly invested in investigating and weighing the true impacts of their administration's, like the person who runs this channel. As for the issues themselves, look, I don't know what your personal stances are, or what things you are prioritizing Trump about over Kamala, but if you want to talk about them and make a point, fucking do that so we can engage in an intelligent debate in a place, like this, that is appropriate for doing so. If you're just going to harp on about this holier-than-thou "you aren't looking at it from this perspective" brow beating nonsense, then you can go back to Facebook and jerk off to a picture of a Mexican green card worker getting flogged or whatever the f you're into.
