Excellent job Michaela! Very spacious. It will fill in nicely when the pothos gets growing. I'd imagine you could keep a lot of tropical type plants outside year round in that southern zone. Does the heated hide try to keep that 75-80 continuously, or only when outdoor temps reach a certain threshold? Tortoises look great. Take care.

Thank you! I use the heater on an as needed basis, so I only turn it on when the temperatures start to drop.

what "flaps" did you use to keep the warm air in? Please respond ive been looking for something similar.
@kevinp66593 ай бұрын
Use a shower curtain 👌 I suggest not doing the strips but one solid flap if you're looking for insulation
@kevinp66593 ай бұрын
Use a shower curtain 💯 I also suggest not doing strips but one single flap for better insulation

Really beautiful enclosure! Could you guys please make a video about how to keep some turtle warm and wet in winter? Such as black-breasted leaf turtle or yellow-margined Chinese box turtle : )

We have a few people working with those species, I will see what I can get made.

The chicken wire that you use around the entire enclosure have too big of a hole. predator still get it especially rats or mice that love chewing on the feet

That's my worry, what can I use to keep rats out

Do you have to put them in their hides or do they find the way regularly?

Great design. You don't have problems with those plants or pressure treated wood? All pretty toxic if somehow ingested.
