- Build mining ships, designed so they can be easily converted to fighters (Otherwise you have 2x the work), also keep the drills to tunnel into enemy base (by holding right click). - If that big abandoned station always spawns there, think about cutting it loose and converting it into a ship. (put big thrusters on it, turrets, survival kits, and seal the inside - with some jump drives it can be great for attacking) - The big station can have 1 jump drive, and the other mining/fighter ships can dock in with it (so they don't need jump drives individually)

Re-re-watching this, I am reminded of an idea I had some time ago. How it might be a good idea to have AI/manned battle platforms that can be moved into act as outer defense when taking a base. Also fun in the game spawns in drones.
