Love these stories. Keep them up. We had a similar incident on Grand Princess on our cruise to NZ, with another passenger (who was intoxicated) demand we give up the seats and table to her because she was a higher status than our family. Security was called and thankfully, they told her to move on. My personal opinion is that Princess passengers are self entitled and think the being a normal decent human being, doesn't apply to them Looking forward to.see the next one.

How unfortunate to have to deal with either of these unacceptable situations. I believe you do have the right to hold chairs while in the pool, going to the washroom or to cabin for brief period.

Yeah it was about 5mins max that they were away so not that long really

Interesting, Towel gate, hadn't occurred to me about taking your pool towels and the cost of not returning them at the end of the day? Was on sky last year, yep the seating around that area is small and can get busy, the woman was in the wrong if your group had identified that the seat was taken, i suspect you haven't been the 1st or will be the last around the seating,

We've had a few issues with odd people on ships, I ignore them. Re your seating situation. If the seats are vacant and nobody else is close by to tell me otherwise I consider them available. Period. If you have a large number of public in one space you'll always get the odd fruit cake ! (I've served most of them in my time lol). Ignore n enjoy. 👍

That is reprehensible behavior! Security should have kicked them out of the bar. Of course you can hold a seat when someone’s in the toilet and/or has to run back to the cabin! It’s not like none of you were still there!

Awful. you encounter self entitled morons everywhere. The first one with the Towel probably gave you the evil eye because you are 2 guys with a child, we had the same experience numerous times when we fostered. The second incident, the bar staff should have intervened far earlier and security should have removed them from the bar. Then when they deliberately jiggled your seats, they should have been threatened with removal from the cruise or even removed from the ship. That type of behaviour is completely not acceptable in any circumstances.
