We are Justin, Tristan & Josh
We started cruising in 2019 with a Norwegian Fjords cruise on P&O Britannia, we fell in love with the ship and cruising and quickly booked a further cruise in the summer on MSC Bellissima. We now have completely caught the bug and have over 9 cruises in the next 12 months...
We love to travel and wanted to share our journeys with the world and they are our way of remembering the great times we’ve had a chance to share some of the tips and tricks we use when travelling as a family.

Omg that behaviour was totally unacceptable. No one has the right to touch another person inappropriately. Unlimited drinks spells disaster. staff do not deserve to be treated disrespectfully, some people just don’t have any manners. Love all your content. Josh is amazing and has two wonderful dads. Xx❤

Totally agree with you! This kind of behaviour is completely inappropriate and in my opinion should be resolved with onboard security…..those short duration cruises are convenient for meeting and conference, but as you explained turns into chaos and I would avoid. So sorry you had to put up with kind of behaviour 😔

I had a 4 day cruise with P & O. Never again, the whole feel of the cruise was different than a 7 day or more cruise as mostly younger passengers who only want to drink all the time. You should have reported the person who 'sexually assaulted ' you then he would have been dealt with by the ship's staff and hopefully confined to cabin or be put off ship at next port. Unfortunately there will always be people like that in life, it happened to me a couple of times in my life in very crowded places i.e. pop concerts when I lived in South Africa in the 70's.

After a 4-Day cruise, I said never again to short or cheap cruises. Drink packages haven't helped either, as many people think they need to get more than what they paid for.

Terrible goings on and really spoils the mood when people can’t handle their drink and go mad for the drink cos they got a drinks package. Was similar on the 3 nighter we did for Jonnys birthday. MSC and their agents really try to pack those cruises and market them as party booze cruises as opposed to “taster cruises”.

It was bad… but thankfully we had some good friends so we still enjoyed overall It definitely isn’t the same int he longer cruises so we will probably stick to those in the future…

Interesting video thanks. We have a 7 day MSC cruise booked in February which we were a little nervous about after hearing about the boozy nature of this cruise. Do you think a 7 day cruise would have a different feel to the 4 day?

Trust me 7 day is totally different we have had some really good msc cruises... it was just this particular cruise was really bad.

Oh my gosh Justin! I’m so sorry that happened to you. That cruise was crazy wasn’t it? I do remember you and Tristan telling the other stories about the rows and the woman being dragged, but there’s literally no excuse for that kind of inappropriate behaviour 😡 🤗

Totally agree, no one has the right to touch a perfect stranger like that, wether a man to a women or women to man or a man to another man, totally unexceptable behaviour, no one should put up with that. Unfortunately there are people that just dont know how to behave in public. So sorry for you. Hope it didnt spoil your cruise.

When people are intoxicated its likely to happen. Best avoid in the future. Try not to dwell on it, put it down to someones elses moment of stupidity. And yes I've had similar happen to me, once whilst the other person was intoxicated and once whilst the other person was sober. (The sober incident shook me a lot more but in both cases no physical harm done, that's the important part) I'm an older wiser man now and wouldn't stand for it again. A good 'ol face slap would have stopped them in their tracks both times in hindsight. I once saw my mother do it to a family friend who'd got too frisky after a few drinks (in front of his own wife too), a slap did the trick, next day when sober he was mortified at his behaviour, his wife said he deserved the slap (laughed at him) and it remained a memorable "do you remember when....." anecdote for the rest of his life, that's quite a punishment if you think about it. He never did it again by the way !! Put it down to life, no harm done......❤ P.S. Don't book a similar cruise again !

That’s terrible it has happened to you as well. Personally it shouldn’t happen to anyone whether alcohol is involved or not and certainly alcohol shouldn’t be an excuse.

It's because we're both so good looking (obviously), they can't keep their grubby little hands off us !! You have to look on the light side of life at times too or else you'd never step outside the door. Now stick the kettle on, have a cuppa and enjoy your day, life is short. ☕

I had often the idea it would be an better cruise on the great fun ships without drink Packages and good alternatives to alcolholic drinks. I like a good Cocktail or glass of wine but we need more nice alcoholfree drinks, not only Softdrinks

Unfortunately a few UK short cruises have been similar accross lines. RC even stopped selling drinks packages on under 4 nights because of it. Also the "Clown gate" on P&O.. We do enjoy short cruises, as with being tied to school holiday times, sometimes are most affordable but we also go expecting fun and games! As for the inappropiate bit, that is totally wrong and people like that deserve throwing overboard!

@@CruiseBuoys We were with you on that? World Europa to Marseille? We have enjoyed every cruise, even the Wonder of the Seas one (3 nights) which gave daughter food poisoning! We just expect UK short ones to be manic and adjust buffet times etc (go early) accordingly.

Thanks, I'm OK now... its OK when people have a few drinks and have a good time it's just when they see it as a challenge to drink as much as they can and then fights break out. We like to have a few drinks but would never get that totalled

I think i may have been on this cruise with you , i remember having a chat with you at lunch about one of these situations, we heard an almighty row between a couple one morning, he threatened to throw all her things in her water , we could hear the full conversation from our balcony, some nice choices of language too 🙈 i think this was at portland. Then we saw a woman on white night at a bar literally screaming at the bar man because she d waited too long , to which he replied ,we ll be with you as soon as we can, she then threw her friends drink in his face! I couldn't believe it ! Just awful 😡. We all go away to have fun and enjoy ourselves, some people just don't know when to stop. It was a pleasure to meet you both on that cruise 😊 thankfully there were more positive s than negative s and we sailed on Euribia in October and had a fab week on there 😊.

It was great to catch up.... think the cabin incident may have been the same I recorded😄. I mean we all enjoy a drink, but getting so drunk and abusive ruins it for other people. We are on Euriba in April so will be good to try out :) 😀

We don’t expect or accept that because it’s cheap someone feels they have the right to act completely inappropriately. We have been in many cruises that are budget friendly and not experienced the things we did on this cruise… 😃

Sorry this happened to you. MSC is the one cruise line I wouldn’t use even if you paid me. I went on one short cruise and never again. They attract stag and hen parties and people are on there to get wasted. Also these cruises tend to be cheap so would attract more undesirables. I only do 14 nighters and 7 at a push

That’s sad to hear as you’ll miss out on some amazing cruises… while totally agree the short cruises can be terrible we have had so so many wonderful longer cruises with MSC especially when cruising in and from the Mediterranean 😊

Lord Jesus... it's so interesting to hear more of that story, and wta_ happened to them that they shoulld leave (er, get kicked off) but thier luggae was still behind! On that other matter... you just described sexual assault. It's just that straightforward; I'd have been in a brawl over it until the individual was in hospital, I was in jail, or both.

I would have had absolutely the same reaction to you to all of these things. Like you, I like to have a drink, but when people are abusing staff and dragging each other up corridors, that is just unacceptable. Also, if a man had touched a woman, the way you were touched, they would’ve been thrown off the ship. It shouldn’t have been any different because you are a man being inappropriately touched by another man. You have to wonder how these people behave in their day-to-day lives. If this is how they behave on holiday. I have to say, I’ve never sailed with MSC but honestly everything I’ve seen doesn’t really sell it to me.

These short night cruises, booze cruises, because thats what they are, stags/hen night etc, aren't good? Because its all about getting smashed and value for their money, been on one, never again. Talking to staff on previous cruises, they really dislike them, prefer the longer sailings, because people start off a bit mad maybe but soon slow down over the duration

I know the incident was uncomfortable and shocking but try to look at it from a different perspective, take it as a compliment, you’re a good looking guy and a more than likely intoxicated individual was letting you know that you’re handsome and desirable. It was an comfortable moment, but it happened so put it in the past, and now you can laugh about it.

I hope the cruise line never, ever does this again. No cruise ship could ever be equipped to deal with that much public intoxication. What did MSC think was going to happen?! What happened to you was a crime…not that you need to define it that way but I do. I can’t imagine all the other problems caused by the free flowing alcohol…that poor cruise staff.

Yeah we felt bad for the crew… so many other MSC cruises we have had were fabulous due to the crew and they were clearly under pressure 😞

Did you report the sexual assault to the crew? if not why not? The police should have been informed and the person dealt with properly. It always astounds me that gay men don't pursue these incidents the same way a woman would if she was groped by a random stranger. Funnily enough it is one reason I never go to gay bars in the UK, it has always been an issue but for that to happen on a cruise is unacceptable and a very serious matter. When you mentioned the behaviour of the other people on the cruise, boozing, fighting etc, what was the reaction from the ships crew? Did you report it to them? It would have been nice to hear if you had reported these incidents and what MSC did about it.

With Hindsight we agree totally and wish we had reported it however at the time it happened very quickly and Justin was in complete shock. Cruise lines take this sort of issue very seriously and had we reported it no doubt MSC would have as well 😃

OMG How rude , disgusting behaviour. I can only do short cruises but now know MSC isn't for me so thank you. I think Saga and Fred Olsen even having an older demographic is right for me. I want to try Ambassador as near to me but am wary of this drunken type behaviour tbh. I do like a good drink but not enough to be dragged back to my cabin !

We had a lovely short weekend cruise on Ambassador at Christmas and it was a very different atmosphere. To the same we have had some wonderful MSC cruises as well just this one time was terrible 😞
