Security Almost CRASH into Car and Call Police ON ME!

I attended a meet hosted by HC Meets, which was originally meant to be held in Bognor Regis, but after a changed location we ended up in a Chichester multi-story car park.
It was one of the loudest meets I've been to for a while, mostly due to the pops & bangs, but the supercharged Mustang was a beast too! This prompted the speedy arrival of local security, who did not predict the roll-back of a recently-arrived MG. After capturing this scene, they found me and thought the police would be interested in seeing my footage.

@@rkl233 I subscribe to a bunch of channels purely for engine noise, such as the legendary 19bozzy92. He doesn't upload 2 hour videos of cars going "bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang" though because they're unenjoyable and repetitive. A WW2 plane going past is a completely different prospect. I assume you go to concerts to listen to music and not the drummer just repeatedly hitting the snare?

I don't care how old it makes me sound, 5:22 onwards sounded absolutely shite. Not a single one of them actually sounded nice, they were just loud with obnoxious maps. I'm all for a loud car if it actually sounds decent, and that seems to be rare as hens teeth at most uk meets these days, unfortunately.

Personally, i've always thought cars in motion sound far better than static revving, but that can be ok if the car sounds good or they don't overdo the revving. These cars at most meets just bang it off the limiter constantly and all the pops just sound so crap.

Agree 100% Occasionally you hear a big old Yank tank and it puts the crappy little fart box hatchbacks into perspective. A wonderful old Ford 4 cylinder can sound brilliant (Pinto engines with big carbs), but pops and bangs maps are like Mr Kiplings cakes. Add tons of sugar to 'make them tastier' Some people prefer the pure taste of sugar I guess, some of us prefer flavour.

You have to wonder if the owners of the back-firing cars think their cars are legal, why do they stop revving when the Police turn up. I stopped going to these sorts of meets a few years ago when it as all getting a bit out of hand. A real shame, as I've always been a petrolhead.. I predicted the Police thing would happen, a couple of years ago and it is going to get worse. We are now getting microphones installed in camera locations on the road, to catch loud exhausts. Probably the next thing will be to seize these cars, and put them through a mandatory MOT test. Then check with the insurance company to find out if they know of all the modifications done to the cars. Probably 6 points and big fines all round then. Sad days. People just tone it down a little please, then we can carry on having decent car meets and the Police will leave everyone alone.

The thing is, loud cars are cool sure but if you've heard it once you've heard it all, same with pops and bangs. The police wouldn't have to come and shut down meets if there wasn't popping and banging m140i's making sounds that to the general public and people around that car park sound like explosions or gunshots. The security was a nob but you can't blame the police in this situation.

The car park owners often have to take legal action in order to move people on, in which time you’ve had your fun and moved on. Take the same line when it comes to cruising. Owners aren't the issue, its when they call the police who then start chucking section 59 warnings out to all the ones drifting and making a nuisance of themselves which makes them all leg it. Some will probably already have a 59 which lasts 12 months so they won't want to be around when the police show up as its a vehicle seizure if caught.

I can only assume our car parks etc are all to spec for older cars from when they were originally built and these specs have never been updated so all new ones are built to the same old spec. Then again modern cars are so huge its almost comical.

Thing is if people weren’t being antisocial and being twats you wouldn’t have to keep moving on, 🤷‍♂️ unless there’s a specific court order banning ‘car cruising’ in an area then there’s nothing the police can do, Trespass is a civil matter and nothing to do with the police, they are only interested if actual crimes are reported, ie suspected dangerous driving, even the Security can’t move you on, the police can’t move you on🤷‍♂️and nobody can demand to see your footage and nobody can demand anything to be deleted, they can ask, and you can refuse.
