All the pranks and magic on The Carbonaro Effect is faked in an unconvincing way. The people being pranked are either actors, or they've been chosen specifically because they're incredibly stupid, gullible, and naive. And on top of there being a lot of cuts and camera angles used to hide the shows tricks, it seems like many scenes are reshot because the show couldn't pull off a con in a single take. Ex. It would be impossible to remove that car in under 3 seconds without the security guard knowing. And you couldn't use a fake car (a poster, inflatable one , etc.) and fool a person sitting 5' away from it.
