No, it normally does call the police, He has it disabled.

No, in this case the authorities would not come. But He has the alarm set to so that the authorities would not show up to his house, If he didn't put it on test mode the authorities would show up.

Actually, it has to be monitored for it to call the authorities.

It has to be hooked up to a phone line if it’s older, but with newer ones it uses wireless networking.

You didn't set the driver up correctly. It has to have a dedicated connection to the main power output or a dedicated supply (both positive 12V and negative) and the third lead (combo trigger, BA+) gets connected to the alarm output on the panel.

Craig Baker I didn’t wire it that way because my panel puts out a little bit to much power to the bell circuit and because of this I can’t hook up a voice driver that way. When I do it just sounds once the panel has power. The system is disarmed and no alarms present but it sounds anyway.

Wait a minute. You and I have the exact same panel. I'm able to do it with no problems whatsoever, even with extra relays for notification appliances. If yours does that, which it shouldn't, it may have a defect in it.

If you have a 4204 (not a 4204CF), you can run the power through it and have control over all of the messages. I could even show you how to program it to do that.

@@iangonzalez1937 well it is because certain alarms have systems that can run on a battery so when a power outage occurs this battery helps keep the alarm to stay making noise until battery runs out most alarms have systems and codes but they can also run on battery this is why when power goes out then comes on again it activates the alarm
