However I love all of your videos and they have inspired me to take into consideration how bad plastic really is and really just trash in general. Thank you so much for your compassionate approach at life 😇💓 The part about you asking how you could help in my journey has actually to do with low waste living (and i font know if i'm making you uncomfortable with this), but i think the movement should focus more on th imperfectedness of zero waste... What i mean with this is that i would really appreciate if zero waste influencers would post more about their slip ups and how packaged things (esp food) might sometime be the better option (eg locally grown soybean tempeh in plastic vs bananas from abroad)... I love spicy creamy noodles (I make my own sauce with tahini as the base and lots of sriracha). Never thought to put sauerkraut on it!! I'll have to try it next time.

I am planning to be low waste this year, but in January I am having my exams (I am a second year History student in Belgium) and I hope that everything is going to be a bit better than 2019. Tomorrow and the day after that, I have an exam, and I am stressing my butt off :)

New Year's Day was my birthday and I went to see a musical. But I have several chronic illnesses and right after the holidays is a slow and pain filled time for me. I'm trying not to let the "failure bug" get me. Because I couldn't just start out the year with set plans, because illness gets in the way of that sometimes.

It would be cool if someone made a disability accessible low waste vlog. Like reusable bags that are easier to open and easy swaps if you’re mobility challenged but still care about the environment.

I’ll look for some good options!! One of my fave things is just standard containers! I like the ones with snap on lids. But you can use whatever container is best for you or even re-use old containers from products as well 💛 What have you found to work best? I’d love to hear since it’s not something I experience personally

Sedona Christina I use mason jars and containers. For my kid’s lunches I found a lady who makes “ziplock” baggies with a zippers. I currently reuse gallon size ziplock with the zip thing that opens and closes bags to freeze things but I’d love to find a reusable option because my kitchen is tiny and I’m in a wheelchair so I can only store items so high. so I have very little space for more storage containers. I cannot open the silicone stasher bags as my thumbs can’t pinch. I’d love to find one with a zip top like the disposable ones. But I feel like there should be options maybe I haven’t heard of. A lot of people make concessions for people with disabilities and that’s great but I feel like, because we make up such a large part of the population, there has to be something that could motivate the community to take some care in the environment we live in.

As a side note, I’ve found your channel to be very helpful. As a mom of 7 I want to teach my children how what they do affects the planet we live on and I’d never even known about shampoo bars before stumbling onto your channel. I’m vegan but my family isnt so I cook 2 versions of dinner daily. I live with a disability but I still do everything I had to do before that happened and I love seeing things on here that I would never have thought of otherwise. 😊

Oh my goodness!! I’m so so glad I have been helpful in literally any way! 💛 I totally feel ya on the stasher bags! I honestly have a hard time opening them too! There are a few things that I don’t love using them for as well, I find that if I pack anything that has something too dry in it, it sticks to the silicone (usually when I put protein powder in one before it’s been mixed with water) so I reuse a leftover ziplock over and over. But I don’t think that’s the best solution, especially with kids because it’s so easy to accidentally tear the bag and then it’s no longer usable haha 🙈 I have seen some that have a slide-able zip top! I know a lot of them aren’t made ethically/sustainably (they’re just a reusable product but aren’t manufactured as ethically as they could be) so I’ll make sure I research a good brand and get back to you!! 💛 I’ll also keep my eye out for more options as well! Always looking to educate myself as best I can too! I want everyone to have access! THANK YOU for showing your kids that their actions have an impact and that there is so so much power in their every day actions! Parents like you are exactly what this world needs! I’m not a mom/parent so I can’t even imagine what it’s like to be teaching small humans something on that scale, but I do know you’re a rockstar for doing it! Thank you for being you 💛

Im trying to come to terms with moving to another country, and one that's not eco-conscious at all, so its really hard for me to follow what I love. Yup, I have some of those days sometimes but my rescue Dolce- comes through the midst of everything and always cheers me up with nose kisses and snuggles, which makes me smile and then I start doing other things I enjoy and keep on! I feel the full moon to, but it has nothing to do with astrology, it's because of the moons magnet field. Think of it that way: The moon moves the ocean, and our body consists to a huge percentage of water. Obviously the magnet field will also have an impact on us. I don't know any details, but I know there is an scientific explanation for it.

I have dermatitis so that’s part of it but it gets aggravated mostly because I wipe my nose on my shirt constantly when I sweat at the gym! Force of habit so I keep trying to stop myself from doing it haha 🙈 Also I haven’t been doing great at drinking water tbh. But this specific spot I’ve had issues with since o was in the 7th grade. It comes and goes. I’ll let you know if I figure out more!! 💛

@@SedonaChristina I can relate to what you're saying. I did find one really helpful ointment that I happen to have because my daughter is prone to skin issues. It's a prescription steroid. I used it a time or two and it really helped. My daughter is only 1, and she's had several issues relating to her sensitive skin, so... yay! Looking like it will be a continuing journey for us=/

Anaiah Rodriguez it is not vegan, you’re right there is beeswax in it but it’s just soooooo good when you’re skin is feeling super dry. My husband gave me one for my birthday once and instead of not using it, I used it because I didn’t want to waste it. She may have been in a similar situation? Who knows lol but you are definitely right 😉

Haha hey friend! I know you’re not the biggest fan of the ads but I quite literally NEED to have them to make videos at all. I’m 10000000% trying my hardest to make them less frequent.
