Gilly, as long as I am here, you are never really "chatting" to yourself 😉 I love listening to you "chat" while you are working, it lets me know what you are thinking, and sends me in the right direction, to know how to try what you are experimenting with! I really love the "flower" painting, and the way it all came out so soft and flowing 😚 Thanks so much for sharing your "new challenges" with us, and help us know what we may, or may not expect. These are still beautiful and I appreciate you and your artwork! Take care, God Bless 🙏❣

Gilly, I have had the same problem with Pearl paints! Molly and Mark J Ratcliffe do beautiful work with them.

I have done pearl pours with the Amsterdam paints. I found that I had to mix them a little thicker and my colors were very vibrant! Mack J Radcliffe does beautiful things with pearl paints I learned a lot from his Chanel! Keep up the wonderful videos! Love from NB Canada!

Hi Gilly! I'm so happy you're back in your art studio. You're very welcome for the paints but I feel terrible that I didn't leave you with any info on how to use them, not even the basic thing like they should be used on black or other very dark colours! 😮 I mix mine with just Floetrol, the same as the base. I'm sure you'll have fun experimenting anyway. I love how yours turned out and I have no idea why the one didn't work. 🤷♀️ I've never seen ballooning done with them before, that was brilliant, Gilly! Oh, and happy belated birthday, my friend, sorry I missed it. I hope you had a great day! Big hugs! ❤🙋♀️🥰🤗🎉

I have tried several times. All on Amsterdam black base. I happened to have a bottle of owatrol. Worked really well because it was thicker than floetrol. I found it's a little more vibrant if you don't do it quite 50/50. I did add a tiny bit of water. I've done the marble with the tilt, a swipe with a tilt. My favorite one with brilliant colors is the blowout. I used the world's smallest blow dryer, started with a puddle not quite halfway up the canvas, and used a bit of cell activator at the bottom of the puddle. It gave me beautiful lacing(I had used a dot of silver underneath the CA). I ended up with lacey silver leaves. Don't be discouraged.. There is a knack to it!. Happy Belate Bday🥳. Thanks, Gilly, for the experiment 😁😘

Mark J Ratcliffe Art would be a great source to watch. He has done some absolutely gorgeous creations. All of his are amazing and he really explains everything he does in wonderful detail and then leaves all his mixture information in the detail section. I loved one of his so much, I just had to buy it and have it shipped to the USA. I think you would get a lot of info from his videos. Denise ❤

Hello Gilly! I think your paintings came out beautiful even if they weren't what you were expecting. ❤ In my first video using these paints, my color didnt show up but then i mixed them with only a dab of Saxx Gel Medium and Floetrol and a black base & now the colors show up! Thank you for sharing

Molly has been experimenting with the pearlscent color. She used a white base then black puddles then she put the pearl scent colors on the black puddles it came out really cool.

I use these paints a lot, I just love them. I have done marble pours with them. I have used a stick to move the paint around like what your are showing. I even did an open cup with them, but the open cup makes the paints pastel. They are wonderful and so bright and fun to pour. You never know what you are going to get but they are amazing. My paints are a little bit thicker than yours Gilly. I quit using any floetrol because it dulls the paint. I use GAC 800 and Liquitex but I'm sure you could use any pouring medium.

Fun video to watch, I was c wishing you tried your balloon kisses from the start. From the videos I have seen, if their swiped in the dark paint or smooshed, that’s the when the colour pops. I would love some of these paints your a very lucky girl. I can’t wait to see what else you do with them. Maybe a swipe with balloon kisses 🤔 🥰🇦🇺

That was interesting. I tried this paint with the bloom house paint recipe and it didn't do well. I'm thinking that since the balloon dips are really nice, maybe the amount of paint on the canvas should be less. It needs a black base to show, and if there's too much paint, then it can't get to the black, if that makes sense. Just a thought.

Lol, dribbling 😉. I've missed your silliness. If you think of these paints as just another color that looks best over darker colors you'll be fine. Other than the pearlescence of them, they're just paint. Welcome back, love. xoxoxoxooxoxo 😘

do you have awotrol? or silicone drops

Your pearl colors look too thin, but you can do a Dutch pour since they are thin. If thicker you can do a ring pour or straight pour. I’ve had heat luck with all of these techniques.
@amsaied9 ай бұрын
Just add floetrol or even just water to the right consistency
@mariaweaver84699 ай бұрын
Molly's artistry has done some videos with these and trying different colors for the base. As far as I can tell the consistency of base and colors is all the same. She has even done some where she mixes the pearlescent paint to make other colors.

Gilly, Fiona uses a polyurethane in her base. It make it beautiful n Nate bright did one I think yesterday he did all the colors under it n covered it with I do believe Amsterdam satin. Also Fiona uses satin mediums Nate put colors on black with color n black on top. It was kinda cool. I still love yrs too tho. But those are my tips. I live in the states so I can get it easy. But there's thing u have that I do not n thing I use that you do not. It's kinda hit n miss. But, ii gotta say the pearlences are amazing!!! Fiona's been doing a lot of those pearls. U should watch her to get ur ideas n also Nate. My advice an a pat on the back for your first try they're pretty 😍
