What a terrible tradition. I am so glad that Ijeawele was able to get her siblings, and the police to come to her aid, thereby saving her life and her son’s life. Because Ijawele fought y them, the village women also protested, and as a result they get to find out that the original decree did not even ask for blood sacrifice. Ijawele by her actions, would have saved many lives, in addition to her baby’s life. Very good story by miss Muna. Keep it up. Greetings from USA

Iju ese is verryyy important. I don’t understand Ijeawele at all. The women mentioned ritual and she didn’t carry her son and run immediately. She still stayed days after.

@@oumienjie210Nope, it was after mama died and she was told that her son was taken away from her. I watched the movie too, kept skipping because I couldn’t bear to watch.

I don’t call this tradition . I call it wickedness. Old men trying to put their wickedness and control on women thinking all of them are weak , not knowing that all it took is knowledge and the will to fight . Hooray for a woman. Keep it up. Enjoy this story frightful as it was not knowing it would end as it did.
