Congress, for example, doesn't get anything done. They bicker over the same topics over and over and then get their enormous paycheck. This process repeats until they die. When a committee tries to do a vote for term limits, so that new and fresh ideas can be introduced, of course Congress isn't going to pass it, because they want their money and don't care whatsoever about the people of the United States. And for the record, by "new and fresh ideas" I am not talking about "woke, libtard ideas". Term limits have been voted on numerous times with this same result. The people (5/6 Americans) want term limits, yet the officials who represent them don't care, so they vote with their wallets. That is the definition of corruption. Do you think that presidency shouldn't have term limits either? If so, good luck with that. And a competency test would be beneficial along with term limits. You can have both; it doesn't need to be one or the other.

The big disruptor was the covid 19 pandemic that destroyed supply chains globally and accelerated inflation due to companies increasing prices to avoid profit losses.
