See Me Feel Me/Listening To You - The Who (Live at the Isle of Wight)

Live at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 is a live album by The Who, recorded at the Isle of Wight Festival on 29 August 1970, and released by Sony in 1996 along with a corresponding VHS video, which was re-released on DVD in 1998 and remastered in 2004. The DVD is very different from the CD. Differences include very significant cuts in the Tommy part of the show and in "My Generation", and, in addition, the video at many parts of the concert is not in sync with the audio. 600,000 people attended the festivel and the Who gave one of the most memerable live performances ever.
Sorry about any bad qualitly, also it is normal some of the audio is not in sync as it is like that on the DVD.

I did multiple times including seeing Tommy at least 5 times. I first saw them in May 1969 at the Fillmore east.

OMG..I thought their Woodstock performance was incredible...until I watched Isle of Wight. Even better!! While the Fab 4 may have been the greatest English rock band, they stopped touring early on. For my money, The Who was THE best live Brit band......ever...period!

Just what I've been saying for years. This was probably one of the final performances of Tommy in its entirety with the original line up and it was just as Townshend was starting to formulate Lifehouse, which would eventually evolve into an even greater album in "Who's Next".

I am really, really pissed-off with the audio/video out of sync situation on the DVD. That problem did not existed on the VHS, so why it had to happen on the DVD ? Even less, as Pete Townsend was the consultant for the damn DVD ! Anyways, The Who is the Best Rock Band Ever. Period.
