Hi Carol, you certainly have lots of interesting projects in mind and it will be exciting watching how they evolve. Your Aria blouse, the Marlo sweater and the ivory Concord T all look fabulous. I have just a few more things to sew up for my summer wardrobe and then I will start planning for winter. I saw a great Paper Theory Agnes PJ pattern which I would love to make up for the winter. Happy sewing.🌸

Hi Carol, you always have such great ideas for new and different projects 🙌🏻🙌🏻. I can’t wait to see them all. I love your Aria shirt, the fabric is adorable, and the simple black tee fits you perfectly. I’ve heard so much about the Concord tee that I might have to try it 😊😊. I’ve been enjoying your new video format👏👏👏. Happy Sewing 🧵🧵👗👗👚👚🪡🪡

Wow, you’ve had some great success with recent makes. Your Aria shirt looks fabulous. The fit is great and the colours really suit you. The Marlo sweater and black tee came out well, too. Good for you for thinking creatively with upcoming projects. I don’t think I could be brave enough to wear a tulle dress or skirt I but good on you if you are. I look forward to seeing your progress on this and the leather collar/ bolo. Your videos are looking very professional, what with the music and such. Very nice to watch. Keep up the great work.

The fitting on your shirt is amazing and it looks terrific on you. I get the baggie dress thing I kind of drown in them.

I’m wearing one of those Vogue t-shirts right now! I got it as part of Marcy and Katherine Tilton’s class on the original Craftsy. I think I’ve made at least a dozen. Good to see you!

Hi Rachel! Wow, I didn't realize there was a Marcy Tilton class on Craftsy. I really miss the original Craftsy. But now that you mention it, I really should start looking at some of the classes. Let me know when you have a good internet connection. The sewing circles have been really fun. There's about 7 to 9 of us who regularly log on and it's a pretty good group. So I hope you can join us soon.😊👗🧵🪡

Oh my goodness Carol I have just thought of making a tulle Friday Pattern Company Wilder gown that I could wear either a fitted dress or top and trousers under. I don't know if I would have the courage to wear, but I think my daughter would. Love the collars you are going to make. Have a lovely weekend.

Go for it, Libby! The Wilder gown would make a perfect tulle dress! I'm glad you like the idea. I hope you had a nice weekend and here's to a good week ahead. I don't know where you are, but I'm hoping you're not in the storms that are coming to the northeast. Happy sewing!!

Thanks Sara! I'm excited about the leather collar too! In fact, I've been thinking about making a sequin one and a faux fur. So much creating, so little time.

Your black tee looks exactly what I'm looking for. I have that Vogue pattern but I've never tried it. I'll add it to the list to narrow down my basic black tee. This week I've sewed a ditto pattern called the Kristin Top. I wanted some big statement sleeves so I hacked another sleeve pattern. I failed to notice the dropped shoulders. Ugh! Those heavy sleeves pulled the front fabric down. Today I took the sleeves out and cut the bishop style from the original pattern. Tomorrow, I hope to put it back together. I also have a pair of pants cut out that I'm procrastinating sewing them up because I know there will be fitting issues. So I'm going to keep on reminding myself that they are a muslin and work through the challenge to get to a properly fitting garment. I love to sew! I am a better person when make time to sew. God bless.

Hi Mary!!! I hope you're doing well. Sorry to hear about the sleeve hack on your Kristin top. Have you sewn on the new bishop sleeves yet? If you have, let me know how they look. Also, let me know how the pants are fitting. It's the fitting issues on pants that keep me from sewing a pair. I get so discouraged because I can't really see what they look like from behind, and even if I could, I don't know that I would know how to adjustment them. But I love your attitude about working through the challenge. It's inspired me! I think I need to copy your comment and keep it in my pocket at all times so that when I get discouraged, I can pull it out and read it. I love to sew too! Take care and I hope you have a really nice week. (And I'm glad you've found your sparkle in getting yourself ready each day! I too realized that I was getting to comfortable with not putting on make up, etc. And although I do it for me, my husband appreciates it and always says how nice I look - lol)

@@pollysews I finished the top. I love the fabric, and although I can wear it, the fit is not great so realistically I probably won't reach for it as often as I was hoping. I had to cut off about an inch and a half so it's more of an elbow length puff on a cuff. It's a bit tight in the armseye. I cut off too much on my adjustment. Both my pfaff and my viking developed problems this week, so the pants are still waiting to be sewn. I hope to pick up the part for my viking this week and then send my pfaff for service. It's never ending! Lol.
