There is already a move to data curation and a reduction of mass coupled with lower powered chips and a coming proliferation of skinnier models and more distributed inference. Security has now become a bigger factor for more localized energy production alongside speed and economics increasingly favoring Greener options along with storage. To a greater and greater extent emerging markets can bypass technological stages and quickly ramp much of their labor to support at least the installation. Nat Gas is having its day, but it is unlikely to be as big or as enduring as most of these types of projections.
