See Pickney Island National Wildlife Refuge in Hilton Head Island-nice wide open spaces and wildlife

We stopped here mid-December but felt like a nice Spring afternoon with temperatures in the 60’s! It was nice to do some hike around the refuge and seeing beautiful birds and couple of alligators hiding in the pond! Awesome place.
