There's a few deatils I think are important to add for baiken. Almost every touch can convert into a safejump that forces a blocked close slash so baiken can always force the opponent to guess her classic 50/50, the only knockdown enders you might consider using she can't safejump from are raw hiiragi and sword super/super wall break (but theres no reason to do sword super aside wall breaking these days anyway due to comboing out of gun) She struggles to convert off pokes a bit more than the average character, while mentioned that meterless she cant convert much at all, due to relying on tether or wall bounce for her bigger combos, she struggles to bridge into positive from midscreen more than some characters, although she can get some disgusting left right safejumps and empty jump throw mix off these to compensate for not gaining as much raw power from the combo. Especially with the season 3 changes, she has a lot of janky seemingly random character specific interactions that can be very very frustrating to butt heads into, especially off of her j.s needing a perfectly timed delay into yousanzen that varies by character to convert into a safejump rather than throwing her opponent fullscreen away from her, you need to be dedicated to learning and memorisng a lot of awkward specific things to play her well, I hope they change this honestly its my biggest gripe with the character in s3 that makes me want to swap (alongside her not being able to use WA as well as a lot of other characters, orange would have been so good)

Actually you can safejump off super wall break so long as the opponent doesn't have access to a 9f reversal. Even a 10f, like May's, is safejumpable.

@@Cassapphic ???? no you land in time to block/parry the 6p. this is because most 6ps aren't 9f or faster. The only characters that 6p matters for is faust and HC, as they have 9f 6p but no 9f reversal. this still means that 100% of the time you can safejump may, johnny, testament, jacko, potemkin, bedman, zato, goldlewis, axl, and asuka. its a gimmick on faust and happy chaos, and a meterless gimmick on ky, millia, nago, ram and ino. Gio can't 6p but can use DP to low profile (or super), so its a gimmick. anji can use his parry, but has no meterless options. it will never work on sol, chipp, baiken, sin, leo, and bridget. don't dismiss the tech, because a lot of the characters it 100% works for are the ones you want to be in close quarters for. and even on faust and happy chaos it is niche enough that most people (at least not at the highest level) won't know they can 6p it. in fact, i've gotten away with using it on characters that even have a meterless 9f reversal, just because they think its a safejump.

Forgot to mention HC cant block while having gun out And his 16 frame roll Im 100% sure you know it’s not practically a 16 frame cross up Bcs you cant shoot that fast Most of the time its around 20 frames Or at least easily reactable if you are looking for it Unlike smth like Leo BT overhead which actually is hella hard to react to even when looking for it But that might just be my opinion

@@wolfzafox229 hahahah yeah if you’ve only watched very good HC players chances are they are putting the gun in before the opponent can hit them But be sure whenever the reticle is on screen he cannot block And if he is in steady aim then he most likely has to RC to block in time Because reloading to cancel the stance takes too long most of the time
